This is a fellowship where the word of God is held in the highest regard. I have had the privilege of joining them in worship on a few occasions. There will be no perfect fellowship on this side of eternity, but then again the negative comments by one of the previous posts will actually have encouraged me to go and worship here, since the author of that post is obviously an unbeliever.

What an irresponsible organisation this is. They have a sign sponsored on the Torpoint Ferry, telling people that if they don't believe in their god, then they don't live. I mean, it is a destructive action to advertise that people are wrong in their beliefs. It is disrespectful to other people who have their own beliefs, it causes religious segregation, racial hatred and is prejudice. If you want to help in life, then be nice to people.

The comment by Zhev Liberson is hateful and abusive and breaks the Google posting policy. I have asked for their post to be removed. This person has never even visited Underwood Chapel and has no connection with it. The scripture on the advertising board on a Torpoint ferry is from the Holy Bible. The Trinitarian Bible Society displays Biblical Scripture on boards at railway stations. This is an attack on our Christian beliefs. We believe in the authority of scripture and we are a loving fellowship of believers in Jesus Christ.

I have been attending underwood for nearly 4 yrs now and find it to be a good church. The preaching is overall very good, singing is lively, with mostly trad. hymns and choruses. The people are very amicable/ friendly, warm and approachable. The church takes the gospel seriously, which is crucial for a Christian church. Supports missionary work and have many visiting speakers from all over the globe.
