I stopped here for lunch and was not disappointed this old mill house which is steeped in history where many of the old mill parts are still cleverly displayed .I opted for the steak pie option on the well laid out menu with a soft drink as I still had part of my journey to travel .Very Tasty indeed "The bar person who served me was smartly dressed

We’ve been coming for years and always have an incredible time. Julie, the manager, is the perfect host and looks after my grandmother so well, always ensuring we are seated somewhere warm and with few steps. The food itself is perfect, we’ve been having the carvery most weeks now and it never misses. The atmosphere is wonderful, whether you want a casual drink, classic pub meal by the fire or more traditional seating, there is something for everyone. Izzy and Noah waited on us on our most recent visit and they were a real asset to the pub, as is every member of staff we’ve had the pleasure of meeting at Worston.

Nice country pub and large outside garden with swings and grounds to explore for kids. Food was good and plenty of it. Sat outside in the sun but choose your seat wisely due to the vast number of trees around. It’s right next to a main line railway so expect some rumbling close by. Staff at the bar quick to serve and friendly overall worth Carpark parking lines are weird , not easy to park and a bit tight to opposing rows

Nice enough place and staff, but I found the food fairly disappointing - the butternut squash pasta was incredibly bland and the pasta was overcooked, although everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals. There was also no table service on the Tuesday evening we visited, and the coffee machine was broken so they were only serving instant coffee. The overall environment was nice, and the staff seemed really pleasant, just a bit of a shame about the veggie food quality!

M6 came to a standstill do we took a detour. We last visited this establishment. 30 years ago. The decor hasn't changed.Pleasant barman. Excellent fish finger sandwich and chips. Good beer and a drinkable Malbec ( many aren't in a pub)Toilets need a refurb. From a pub perspective, great. If looking for anything more, you won't find it here.

Fabulous Sunday lunch from the carvery. Staff are attentive and sincere. Lovely atmosphere and a great meeting point with exits north and south on the M6. Suggest booking a table as is does get busy.

Lovely place. Had funeral reception and the staff, food, and private space were lovely. Couldn’t fault anything. Thank you for being so caring and kind.

Understaffed and underwhelmedDecided to check this place out after a few visits to local pub-restaurants in the area. Unfortunately that was my mistake, the rest however wasn't. Walked in to a largely quiet, large bar. Drinks ordered, an an ale and an apple cider- got plum and no explanation. Ok no worries, maybe itll be a refreshing change.Waited nearly an hour and 10 for food- a steak pie and a burger. No customer interaction regarding 2nd drinks or apologies for the delay.Overheard a conversation regarding being understaffed. If that's the case then it needs to be explained to the customer on entry or order. The table next to us waited an hour and 20 for sandwiches..In fairness the pie was pretty good, a good size. However, the chips and burger were dry and would not recommend.Don't think I'll be in a rush to return. Very disappointed.

Good size portions and tasty enough food to fulfil your appetite. The old crafty hen beer, however, was not the usual fine quality I would normally expect.
