Castle Combe Visitor Car Park

Beautiful place. Some public utilities should be made available

Come here and do two important things amazing trail and visit the castle Combe village. Relax 5 Kms trail which has some pleasant surprises. You start with really narrow bush trail which leads to Golf course! by the way we also saw snake in the bushes totally harmless. you get some steep climbs of around 100meters but that's very much doable. really enjoyed the experience and trail ends with visit to castle coomb village which is so beautiful. even had local diary ice cream which was one of the best. highly recommended.

Just the place to park when visiting the outstandingly beautiful village of Castle Coombe. Give yourself a lovely walk down to the village and don't clock the narrow country road with your car.Be sure yo call in for a noggin at the Castle Inn or better for lunch.If your wallet is weighing you down, try the Bybrook Michelin star restaurant at the Manor house. You won't be disappointed.

Plenty of space here to park on the level and free of tight spaces or obstructions. The car park sits at the top of a hill and you should have a mobile phone signal to pay using MiPermit app with reasonable parking fees..It's about a 10 minutes walk to Castle Coombe centre down a fairly steep wooded lane. You may need to consider dropping the less mobile in the village and then return to park here. Turn right out of the car park to walk there .

Not very big so it fills up in no time. Used to be free but now it's paid up until 4pm. Paying is easy but I'd advise coming early or coming after 4. Congestion in this car park can happen due to people waiting for visitors to leave to take their space.

Mini parking, trop petit par rapport au nombre de visiteurs, il oblige à tenter de trouver une place dans la descente pour aller au village, les voitures côtoient les piétons. Pourquoi ne pas organiser un parking et navette sur les hauteurs du village ?

Lovely placeCarpark is a short walk down the hill ( 7 min / 0.4 mile , even the walk down into the village is very pleasant but if you have elderly with you it will be to steep so maybe drop them off and park up after. Toilets are at far end of village where best view of street is.

A fairly small car park but plenty of spaces available. I’d advise to bring cash to pay for parking because the only other option is to pay by phone and phone signal can be pretty patchy.It’s quite a walk to Castle Combe from this car park so be prepared for that. The walk back to the car park is uphill too, so that’s worth noting.

Plenty of easy free parking here (rather than spoil the approach with bumper to bumper lane parking). A nice stroll down to the village itself.
