Lloyds Meadow Fishery

Incredible glamping site, it has everything you could dream of. Firstly, you get an amazingly warm welcome by from the owners Sarah and Danny who will offer to help you with anything you need for your stay.The glamping tents are well kept, clean and spacious with a huge, comfy double bed iniside AND bedside tables - it is better than staying in a hotel! The besd is warm and cosy with a huge feather duvet. Each tent has its own seating area so you can relax by your tent and the tents are spaced out enough so that you get privacy, peace and tranquility and the feeling that you have the place to yourselves (which we did for one of the nights).The grounds are beautiful, with amazing wildlife, you wake up to beautiful bird song and get close to rabbits and squirrels regularly. The place is so peaceful and relaxing, I wish that we had longer to stay there.Do note that it is the perfect place to come and unwind, plus disconnect from technology as you don't have electricity but you have everything you need with the camp fire and the stars. We were provided with plenty of wood to keep our fire going and to keep us warm throught our stay (it was autumn). The cooking pack is well stocked and you don;t really need to bring too much with unless you want to. The only thing I would say is you might want a torch for night time (like with any camping).The toilet and shower blocks are very clean, well maintained and provide hot water. There is some great walks nearby and a pub if you fancy it that also serves nice food if you don't want to cook all of the time. It has great access to the train station should you want to leave (unlikely) with easy access to Chester and other local stops.Overall a great stay with more than excellent service! Felt like aprt of the fmaily during our stay here, have been recommending to all my friends and will definitely eturn when they reopen for next year's season!Thank you :)

A lovely place to fish was a really hot day but still managed to get a few decent carp out. The owner is a nice bloke and is full of useful information

Fantastic place to fish. Owners are so friendly and helpful. It was torrential all day but the fishing was great and the diversity in species incredible. Mirrors, commons, Chub, Bream, roach, crucians, dace, even a gudgeon or two... Well worth a visit

Lovely Owners, They really care about nature as well as running an excellent well stocked fishery. If you are Glamping" you get your own large pond to fish. The other 3 ponds are just as good.Keep your fishing simple and you WILL catch. Try Fox pool in the late afternoon

A cracking fishery in lovely countryside. The lakes are very mature with excellent stocks of fish. This is an awesome place to take a child or somebody just starting out. Masses of silver fish to keep them busy, and a variety of carp for the more experienced angler. The owners are very friendly and a pleasure to meet.

Absolute hidden gem of a fishery! The surroundings are idyllic and the owners couldn't be more friendly and accommodating. The fishing is fantastic, I took my 7 year old and we had over a dozen fish from small gudgeon to a couple of cracking mirror carp. My son proclaimed it to be the best fishing place ever!!!""

My partner and I stayed 2 nights back in June, and we had the most amazing experience!This place is a true little gem near Delamere forest. It is not only beautiful, and quiet but also very well maintained by Sarah and her partner.You can tell they put so much work and love into this place.We felt so welcome and very well looked after for our entire stay, Sarah was always helpful and accommodating if we needed something. Thank you again for everything!I highly recommend it if you are looking for a little get away surrounded by nature and wildlife. You will love it so much that it will be hard to leave! :)

Been a few times really enjoyed it, just a shame you can fish the top 2 lakes anymore, kingfisher looks a great lake.I have taken the kids and had a great day, caught plenty of fish.

Lovely little collection of waters. Good advice offered regarding the one I was fishing. Fantastically well manicured venue, lots of parking and easy access!
