Crowded and over-priced. I bought a small bottle of hot sauce for a staggering £8! It was supposed to be Ghost Pepper, more like white pepper it tasted absolutely horrible. I also got twelve chocolate covered marshmallow things for a whopping £15 after being fooled by the deliberately warm n' cosy homemade" vibe of the display that enticed me in! They looked nice enough but tasted absolutely rank. Cheap

A great start to Christmas. We go up on the train from Okehampton so it's a lovely adventure for the kids and we stay out of traffic. Don't bring lunch as the market has loads of interesting grub and the local area does have a lot of nice looking restaurants.

A very colourful display of several market stalls across the Cathedral green... lovely and unique stalls, so different to what you see in the shops... big queues for the food stalls, but quite expensive... A bonus though.... THE CATHEDRAL IS FREE TO ENTER.

This Christmas Market has improved over the years but it could do with a little more organisation as the Chalet" type huts are quite closely packed together so a good one ways system would be more appropriate at busy times especially at the weekends"

Exeter Cathedral Christmas Market
I was a bit disappointed by it to be honest. It wasn't as big as I expected and everything was really expensive. I had planned on getting a burger while I was there until I saw the prices started from £9! There was quite a choice of food stalls and some gift stalls very different from the usual but the prices were too much. Shan't go again. Found it difficult to kill 5 hours.

Overall a good choice of stall holders. Thought it would have been better to keep the food area together instead of spreading them around the other sellers. Some areas of matting had not been nailed down properly so trip hazard alert. Definitely not enough toilets only found one set behind the cathedral near the building site. At least they are free. Signs lacking until on top of them. Did not visit inside cathedral as felt pressured to “donate” at doorway. So much for free entrance as advertised.

Lovely, but busy! Needs more food stalls or a bigger area for them. The ones there are massively over subscribed while the trinket stalls are quiet. Good big bar, but clearly not big enough for the crowds, would be great if it stayed open later than 9.

I would say it is worth a visit. The size of it is moderate (5-6/10) ; range of stalls 7/10 ; good quality items. And range of prices 8-9/10 ; food stalls 8/10 - averaging £12-17 so not that cheap. Relatively okay parking in shopping centre but not nearby. Can get very busy on weekends.
