Norwich Karate Academy
I have thoroughly enjoyed all of my lessons at NKA! I joined earlier this year as I have always wanted to try karate, and Matthew and Sammie have been such amazing teachers. The lessons are fun and provide a mental workout as well as a physical one! I would highly recommend NKA to anyone wanting to try karate - kids and adults alike :)

This is a truly fantastic club! My two sons, now aged 7 & 9 years, have been members for 14 months and I too, joined this family centered club 9 months ago. I have seen my boys grow in both confidence and ability under the careful instruction of Matthew and Sammie. Their endless patience, encouragement and technical expertise has instilled a love of karate in all of us that I hope will be life long. I am amazed by my children's dedication to their training and their determination to improve. This mindset has been nurtured and promoted by our amazing instructors. We are all extremely proud to be members of NKA!

I joined back in June/July this year and I soon realised that it's not just about learning karate and getting to the next belt, it teaches you about coordination, patience and balancing. And it's a very intense work out! Matt and Sammie are great tutors and have been very welcoming and supportive throughout!

My 10 year old son has loved Matthew's karate lessons for the last couple of years. He has a firm but clear and encouraging teaching style which is really helpful for those who struggle to focus. The regular gradings 3 times a year to get new belts are a great way for children to see their progress and a good motivator. This is my son's favourite out of school activity and it's brilliant to see such progress being made.

Absolutely brilliant. Matt and Sam's teaching and dedication comes through in every lesson. It has been the perfect introduction to Martial Arts for my child and they have come on so much in such a short time. Highly recommend.

My 11 yr old son started learning karate a few months ago with Matthew from Norwich Karate Academy. His technique, flexibility and stamina has improved and it's a great club atmosphere to be part of. Matthew and his helpers (Sammie and Olly) are all super passionate about teaching the techniques and the art of karate to all age groups, making it fun for all involved. I would definitely recommend it to anyone, if you want to get fitter, get more agile, learn a martial art, whilst within an enjoyable fun environment.

My two sons and I joined NKA about 15 months ago as we we wanted to try something new that would improve our fitness. So pleased we did! Not only has it improved our physical fitness, it gives your brain a good workout, and we have made some great new friends too. I am most impressed with how my boys have grown in confidence and their commitment to keep improving, which I believe is down to the encouragement of our fantastic instructors, Matthew and Sammie. They have a wonderful teaching style, which instills discipline but at the same time makes the lessons fun & enjoyable. We cannot recommend NKA highly enough!

NKA is a brilliant karate club, for both children and adults, with the most fantastic instructors. Sammie and Matthew have the perfect balance of teaching karate with discipline and professionalism, whilst still managing to make the lessons fun. I would highly recommend NKA to anyone who is specifically looking for a karate club to join, or is just looking for an activity to help build their children’s confidence in a fun and friendly environment. My 8 and 10 year old daughters and I all love it at NKA.

My son joined nka in March 2022 and is now training for his purple belt. He's gained so much from these lessons, physically and mentally. His confidence has remarkably improved.Matthew and Sammy have made learning clear and fun and so family friendly ,it's really suitable for ages and abilities . Highly recommend them

My son has been in training with Norwich Karate Academy for last 2 years. Matthew's skill is well appreciable, as he trains everyone with focus individually.Sammie balances Matthew's vision and supports the training in an organized manner.They both made Karate as an Interesting Sport for the kids particularly. My son thoroughly enjoys every class with the eagerness. He has been inspired and motivated to achieve each belt / grading with full involvement.I strongly recommend NKA for anyone interested with Karate or eagerness to learn Martial Arts.
