I have just had my Audi A3’s Mot done and other work at this garage. Absolutely fantastic service. Brilliant customer service. Fantastic price. Car started making very alarming noises a couple of days before Christmas. Obviously every garage was horrendously busy, but they managed to diagnose same day and repair it in time to drive home- much appreciated! My car is a very old, but much loved heap of junk, but I still think they took excellent care and everyone was very friendly!

I’ve had to switch from my regular garage of some 9 years after it closed permanently due to the first round of Covid restrictions, so after a lot of online research and review checking I decided to give Filwood a try and book my car in for its MOT. I tend to look after my car, so I was really expecting it to fail on anything, but with 75k on the clock you never know and its always a bit nerve racking when you try a new Garage. I called them up and spoke to a cheerful lady on the phone who booked me in for the following week at my request. I stated on the call that I would wait with the vehicle, and she said that wouldn’t be a problem.I turned up on the day and before I’d even got to the reception desk, a member of staff walking through the workshop came over to ask if he could help. I mentioned my car was booked in for its MOT, and he replied, ‘An Insignia by any chance?’ I said yes and he replied, ‘I understand your waiting with the vehicle?’ again I said yes. He showed me to the reception/waiting area, and I handed him my car keys. He came back around 15 minuets later just to let me know my MOT had started, and to ask if I wanted the TV turning on in the waiting area to which I said yes. Some time later he came back again to let me know my car had passed with no advisories!I have to say that I can’t fault them on customer service, and while I was there, I asked for a price for a full service on my car and the price quote was competitive. So, my car will be heading back to Filwood over the next couple of weeks for its service. Needless to say, I think I’ve found my new garage.

Polite and friendly staff. Filwood were able to get my MOT booked within 7 days of my call. Very competitive prices and great value for the high level of service.

Strung along for 3 weeks awaiting a part for my T4. Never received a call from the garage, had to chase them myself and they never got hold of the part.More distressingly, 24 hours after my van was returned to me, i notice a new dent and paint scratch on the passenger side rear panel. I can't prove it was the garage as i didn't spot it immediately, but considering their driver said 'how do you drive that thing' upon returning it to me, circumstances would suggest an accident on their part. Asked the garage about it, but again, received no communication and had to chase myself repeatedly.Do not use this garage.

The service & MOT that I received last year was fine, however they lost my service book (and therefore my full service history). I tried to chase this for around 6 months, and just received excuse after excuse. After a while I've unfortunately had to give up, and my car's value has lost around £1000. Would not recommend.

Belt snapped on the car this morning garage managed to not only squeeze us in but fixed the car & got it back to us the same day. Very friendly staff and good prices.Highly reccommend this garage we will only be using their services from now onThank you so much x

I was initially happy with the work done as my car seemed in good working condition and it was done in good time. However one day my car would not start. The guy from the AA asked if I had had my clutch repaired recently. Turns out they fitted the wrong bolts into my gearbox and not enough of them either. This caused the gearbox to leak oil and has had excessive wear. I would avoid.

I was absolutely delighted by the sevice I received from Nev and his team. My car was in trouble but Nev was on hand the same day to make sure the car was safe to drive. This is the second time I have been blown away by the top flight customer support this firm can offer and there really is a sense of trust established. Would highly recommend
