Ridiculous knowledge of alcohol and its capabilities. Give them a general idea of what you like, and they'll produce a chalice of nectar to suit your style. 'Jess' was brilliant!

OMG what a wonderful afternoon spent drinking gin & cocktails. Jess the bar lady was so knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble and she went out of her way to make our afternoon special. We shall definitely be going back. Thank you Jess for a lovely afternoon. She even made a special cocktail for one of our party.Can't recommend this bar highly enough.

Absolutely lovevthis place. Normally pop in if ever I'm in Exeter. The staffs knowledge of their spirits are amazing. They also make an AWESOME bloody mary.

A hidden gem in Exeter! They really do know their gins well. I had the chance to try quite a few rare gins, ones that smell like fish, ones that were made from capers and parmesan, and some that were more normal haha. Was never a huge fan of gin but they do grow on you after a few tries!

The best cocktail bar in town, hands down. The bar staff are super friendly and have a dearth of mixology knowledge. I would highly recommend this place if you're in town and fancy a well made cocktail!

We have been to Crocketts a few times now. One of our favourite places to spend an evening out. The service is incredible and our gin expert Jess, really makes the evening so much fun! Great staff, wonderful atmosphere and highly recommended.

Went out for drinks as a 'maturer'group in Exeter & actually found it quite a challenge to find places to relax and unwind with a few drinks until we thought... Stumbling upon Crockett's gin bar. There was security at the door that had to check if there was room. Upon entering the décor was done to a fantastically high standard, somebody really has an eye for detail (maybe to the extent it looked a little bit like a private conservative club) but still we were ushered to our table, unsure as to why the security had to check as the establishment was maybe half full... We got to the table and were told there would be no need to get bar service as the waiter would come to the table. In the interim, waiting for service a couple of us used the toilet facilities (which were in what can only be described as a cupboard within the seating area, & lets say soundproofing seemed to be lacking) finally the waiter arrived at our table and took our order for which we were going to pay a pretty premium for as well, before disappearing and another different member of staff returning some time after... With half the drinks and not the right drinks at that. After the whole party finally recieving at least one drink each we decided we wouldn't stay for another so asked for the check (again bought to the table) at which point the waiter noticed new arrivals and began a customer service spiel with the new arrivals again leaving us waiting a considerable amount of time. Crockett's building its reputation on a specialist gin establishment may need to enhance/re-train its staff to deliver the service expected of a specialist business. The decor was unfortunately let down by the lack of professionalism from the staff...

Wow, what a little treasure to find. Beautiful decor too.Love, loved this place. 3 sisters visiting Exeter and these guys made us feel unbelievably welcome.Great knowledge of drinks too. Loved the Hepple gin with cucumberSuch a smashing, friendly place. Would definitely return!
