Excellent EV charging facilities...and free to use!

Badly set-up EV charging hub in the car park. You need to pay to park here, but there are no proper signs to say this. The charge points are awkwardly positioned, and you may need to turn around to fit your car. The road might be one way (is it?), again no signposts.

Looks at first glance to be a nice fancy EV charging location - but all is not as it seems. As per Glasgow City Council's general hatred of the private motorist, this charging location is not available to you!One side is dedicated to Goods Vehicles only and the other to Taxis/Private Hire vehicles only!So no use to everyone else and probably why it is empty much of the timeThese chargers are also no longer free as of April '23, costing 40p/kWh for under 50Kw charging and 70p/kWh for 50-150Kw charging - and you need to pay to park while charging too by the looks of the signs. It'll be a handy location if you are a taxi driver or drive an electric van round the city centre but of no use to anyone else.

Badly organised set-up. Side on charging rather nose/tail. There are 36 charging points but only 12 car park spaces. Mental at times.Taxi drivers with their aggressive parking. Plus the odd parking attendant issuing fines.Glasgow City Council need to bring in tariff charging and over-stay fees asap. South Lanarkshire have done it. That would sort out a lot of problems with cars sitting fully charged and connected. It is a great place for a charge however, getting a space isn't always guaranteed.

It's good if you can get your car on charge, however you will have to fight off the Taxis first. You will also get annoyed as people leave their cars on charge and not come back for hrs. Annoying when these are 50kw chargers. Be also mindful traffic wardens patrol this area and will ticket you if you don't pay the parking.
