I'm glad this place has reopened, and reopened with fresh ideas and vigour. The well decorated, homely pub has good service at all times, plenty of seating,a good variety of drinks and has a good pool table. The function suite is ample sized and nicely done out. Oh, plenty of parking to the rear too. It's pretty local to me and I'm glad it's back!

Last minute visit for food on a Sunday, pub full but Adele set out a table for 6 of us and couldn't have been more welcoming. Being a gluten intolerant veggie I was delighted to enjoy a specially cooked Sunday lunch along with everyone else at such short notice Great food ,service good, food reasonably priced, a must return next time we are visiting the area Thanks Adele.

Just returned home to n.ireland after a fantastic visit to see friends in Yorkshire. To our pleasure we were introduced to THE DEARNSMAN BAR/RESTAURANT. Spent a great couple of nights there. A great big thanks to Adelle and Kev the bosses who went far beyond the call of duty as drink and food were concerned.Do yourselves a favour and give it a call,you won't be disappointed.Ps .There might even be a rock star in appearance .Hope to see you soon Paul and Isobel

Adele and Kev are very welcoming to everyone both new and old customers. They have artists singing quite regular, themed nights and karaoke.If you haven’t tried food here then it’s a must….Kev is one heck of an amazing chef and food is gorgeous and well presented. The price is good too.

Went on a nephews engagement do, room set up nicely , friendly staff and nice buffet, downside drinks a tad expensive but overall very good.

We travelled up from South wales for a wedding here. Very nice place and staff were loverly. We returned the next day before going home to have a Sunday lunch here, i had a large dinner and the plate itself was huge, didn't seem to get much for than a medium just more room to move food around. But on the whole the food was loverly! The toilets need a refurb tho.

Lovely meal and very helpful staff with regards to ensuring the food was gluten free. Definitely a place to go... freshly cooked food and excellent presentation and friendly staff.
