Dave did a superb job fitting us a walk in bath a bathroom suite and a higher toilet. He gave every consideration to the elderly residents and would thoroughly recommend him to anyone.

Dave and Charlie installed a new boiler in my house this week. They were both extremely professional and friendly, and completed the job in less than a day and a half. Both gents patiently answered all my questions about the new system, and made sure that the house was just as tidy after the installation as it was before. I could not be happier with the service that they provided and can highly recommend this company. Brilliant work chaps, thank you again!

I've used Maintek for small and large jobs for six years and have never been disappointed. Upon reflection, I've never been less than impressed.The recent project was large, with Maintek fitting new services into a kitchen (kitchen being moved from one room to another), installing underfloor heating in an extension, removing the services from the old kitchen and replacing an original boiler. To make it a bit more challenging, it was being project managed by myself... I am not a project manager, and definitely won't be giving up the day job!Maintek were involved from the inception of the project and were very patient with my questions and frequent mind changing. With the project now complete I can clearly see what the advice received intended and am 100% satisfied it was all correct.The project starting during the Big Freeze" and so timescales were unpredictable. Maintek were flexible in their bookings when building work was delayed. They could advise what jobs they could get on with and so adjust their schedule accordingly to make full use of time.Communication throughout was excellent. Impressively

Let’s start at the beginning-6 months ago I was in the process of buying a bungalow ‘stuck in the 70’s’ . Lots of plumbers came out to give quotes but I wasn’t satisfied. Bumped into a lady at the hydrotherapy Pool in Swindon who recommended Maintek!! David is a true raconteur and a fantastic plumber. The work started on time, he’s the cleanest workman I’ve ever seen and the resulting work is exceptional. Don’t hesitate to contact David and his wife Claire who runs the admin side. You won’t be disappointed!!

Update: Whilst the installation was smooth, the boiler kept failing. I contacted Maintek and was told I had run out of fuel, the tank contained 850 Litres. The engineer (Dave) even seemed to lose patience with the issue. I arranged for the tank to be topped up to capacity (1900L) and was fine for a while. However, months later I experienced the same issue. I contacted Maintek as an emergency, but did not receive a response. I eventually contacted the boiler manufacturer and they sent out an engineer. The reason for the failure was down to a poor installation. The copper pipes are supposed to have brass inserts to ensure a tight fit and avoid air gaps, but this was not carried out by Maintek. Seems Maintek are happy to take your money for installation, but don't bother them after that. My advice : STEER CLEAR!

We've now used Maintek twice - first time changing some radiators and the second, several months later, installing a new boiler. Both times the work has been exemplary. Communication with the office is excellent and Dave is a very conscientious, hardworking and courteous bloke. Top quality work ethic, no mess. I can thoroughly recommend this firm.

I want to express my gratitude to the Maintek Ltd team, who have been super supportive, friendly and understanding. In particular, to David, who worked on the heating in our home. It was a real pleasure having him in the house. With his immense knowledge and experience and his careful planning of the work he was able to resolve all of our issues (there were quite a few) in a very short time. He is super diligent, tidy and organised. Sincere thanks from both my wife and myself. Maintek Ltd are lucky to have him.
