Causeway Cafe
Very nice cafe conveniently close to many accommodation options and only about 10 minutes on foot from the station. Prices were reasonable and the food was very good. I ordered Veggie fry, and for the price, the food was tasty and well done. Cappuccino was not the best, but not a problem. The place feels very nice and staff was amazing.

Most amazing selection of vegan food I’ve ever seen anywhere! Even more choice than fully vegan places I’ve been too. We had breakfast and everything was divine.

Very nice place for breakfast. Friendly environment fresh delicious food. Really good. Especially opens super early. Best place before catch the tour bus.

Nice comfy place for an early breakfast before going to the day tour. Just everything you’re looking for in a breakfast place - lots of vegan and gluten free options, from sweet to savoury. Prices are reasonable, very filling, very friendly staff. 100% recommend!

What a beautiful cafe to have breakfast or brunch. We had our brunch here and its totally worth it. Its a Big cafe but not over priced. The food is lovely and the staff are so friendly. We ordered the Berlin, belly buster filled soda and savoury French toast and pancake with syrup. Enjoyed every bit of the lovely food. Enough vegan and kids friendly options.

Everything is perfectly toasted and fried, with a delightful crispness. It not greasy at all.So happy that I came here before flying out! Building my own breakfast is a little more expansive than the set, but customization is fun. It’s my first time trying the veggie roll (beef sausage) and it’s very flavorful. I also like the crunchier texture of the clonakilty black and white puddings. The potato and (slightly salted) soda farls are also tasty.Didn’t expect latte art in the simple looking cafe, but here it is. I appreciate it despite the probably ordinary beans.It was empty when I went in. Did the hostel people already left or are they still sleeping :3 Then more people from the neighborhood came. The elderly are always a good sign.The staff is really welcoming. No fancy decorations here, but the anti-instagrammability attitude is cool isn’t it ;) Focus on the food. The atmosphere is chill and relaxing— you can hear the laughter, singing, and cheerful good mood in kitchen.

Great spot for breakfast, friendly quick service and the Samson fry was delicious. Nice thick bacon. Also had an iced coffee and a large latte both were tasty☕️

Brilliant place to eat, breakfast was great and the choice is fantastic, vegan and vegetarian options too. The atmosphere was brilliant as staff was very friendly and chatty and polite, they made us Scots feel welcomed. Food was great and very affordable, plan to head back for each of the days we are visiting.
