Belvoir Vale Care Home

Grandparents grandma and grandad stayed here, very nice inside and out with fancy ornaments which make you feel special when you came in but my dads dad stayed in a much cheaper place which was so much better! Which is hard to believe I know, but it made me realise expensive doesn’t always mean better.I think research is the key not reviews or fancy grounds or taking to owners who are good at making you feel special.

My mum has just had 5 weeks respite care at Belvoir Care Home. It's a difficult time for someone you love to go into care but Jo and the team did everything to make it a good experience.Mum has just come out but has been really well looked after and is happy and calm.Thank you again and I would highly recommend the care and love given here.

It was my mums first visit for some restbite and I haven’t seen my mum so happy in a long time. The care home is super friendly, super clean and really all round super. The staff are amazing and very caring. My mum didn’t want to come home and I can see why. Thankyou so much to all of you Mum is looking forward to her next stay.

Since my mum became a resident just a short while ago we have nothing but praise for all of the excellent staff,they all care to an exceptional standard;nothing is too much trouble.Everyone is friendly and a cuppa is never far away!we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Belvoir Vale Care Home.

When my 96 year-old mother who was living with support in her own home suddenly ‘went off her legs’, my sister and I had an immediate, very pressing problem (both of us live far away). We asked her long-term care providers who they would recommend and they unhesitatingly recommended Belvoir Vale. My sister (retired Consultant Geriatrician) and I visited and were immediately impressed and our mother was safely installed that very afternoon.During the ten months that our mother spent there she was looked after in an unfailingly exemplary way. Jo and her team were wonderful (my mother, not normally good at new relationships, came to love them all) her room, the atmosphere, food and general care were all absolutely first class.Belvoir Vale also seemed very good value compared with local care homes here in Scotland.

Truly wonderful home with exceptional staff. Would not hesitate in placing my parents in their care.

Aunt is staying here £1000 a week. Bit depressing but clean and tidy, friendly staff. Nice surroundings. If you have to be admitted somewhere like this this is a nice enough care home.
