My worst experience ever buying a used car, really nice at first promised everything but once you left the nightmare started, broke down within 24 hours and needed £700 to make it safe and road worthy.Put the phone down on me 3 times and never replied to any messages.I wouldn't recommend this outfit to anyone.

Was asked to provide a totally refundable deposit on a car we saw on Auto Trader. After test drive, declined to purchase because the car didn't suit our needs. Tried to recover the deposit but after a month have given up.Its a shame too because this would have been a perfectly normal 5 star interaction otherwise. They seemed really nice.

Avoid at all costs!!! Just like other reviews we had the exact same experience. We traveled around 200 miles to collect a Porsche Boxster. On the photos and advert it looked and sounded great, This was backed up by “Laura” on the phone who assured us the car was great with no problems and in brilliant all round condition for it’s age. She advised us that a deposit of £500 must be paid to secure the car however if for any reason we didn’t want to take the car this would be refunded.On arriving at the garage we were met with a gentleman who said his name was shakil. We started looking over the car and could not even believe it was the same car that was advertised. Cracks on the wind screen, Paint scuffs on all sides of the car, roof was not working after I had specifically asked if it was all in working order, Radio unit would not turn on, electric window button would not work and the list goes onThey tried everting they could to get us to take the car however we were insistent it was not happening , When asking for our deposit back we have been told that it takes 72 hours to do a refund. We have made them aware that if funds do not appear in the account within this time frame we will be taken court action. After this we were pretty much marched off the premises.Do not fall for “Laura’s” charms and sales pitch as you will regret it.We have also reported the garage to Auto trader and Trading standards, I would advise anyone with similar experiences to do the same!

We bought a Fiat 500 1.2, part Abarth conversion. nice calls from Shakil when they wanted the sale, nice car also, but It was full conversion, the number plate didn't match the engine, it was still showing a 1.2, when in fact it was a 1.4 turbo, not what we wanted, we called, advised this, they accepted the error, offered a refund once the car was back withthem and checked. They have had the car since 30/10/2021, with promise of refund, which has not come, no response from manager, no call backs, eventually when we got a call back the amount to refund was wrong, accountant went to check, still no refund. I called to follow up on the accountant and the refund, had to explain again the situation, the lady on the phone, Laura I think, said I should be happy I got anything and take the money and run??!! He then refused to refund as I went to Citizen Advice, and in turn Trading Standards after a month. Still no refund, no call back, after being promised a call, a refund. Sebastian, an employee did try apparently, but no surprise no refund came, Shakil refused to give this refund, they have relisted the car I paid for on there website for £3499, they are selling an illegal car, I own, which they have not refunded after promising to do so. Shakil and Agate Auto are a disgrace to honest auto trades man, he is a dishonest man. Stay well clear of these people. I asked many times for a refund they promised, and in sheer greed refused the refund, and now they are trying to resell the car, which they claim isn't on the website when I called and asked why they are selling the car I bought, which they haven't refunded. Disgusting place. This has now gone to court, and also the police for the mismatch in vehicle numbers.

We bought our car a year ago, Laura was extremely friendly, everyone there was really nice and welcoming, they made us feel like friends more than customers :DWe felt at ease, there was no pressure, and the car was spot on. We just had our first MOT of this car and it passed with flying colors. The car had a few advisories when we bought it, but turns out all repairs had been done before we bought it. The next time I buy a used car, Ali Asghar Cars will be our first stop :)Thank You So Much!! We are still Very happy with our Car!

Brilliant service. Bought my first car (Audi A3) from here and I honestly could not recommend agate autos enough. I was shown brilliant customer service by Shakil and then had the pleasure of going on test drive and which I was nervous about as this is my first car. I was shown excellent service by Laura who eased any concerns I had. Again this is a brilliant run business who I will be definitely recommending to all my friends and family.

Just bought my first car. Drove it for the first time today and loved it. Laura was so helpful and trustworthy. She was able to sell me a decent car at an affordable price and ensured I would not have any sneaky issues once it was brought home. Definitely recommend :)

Bought my first car here and Laura has been immensely helpful and very friendly. She made sure that we were happy with the car after our test drive, that it was ready for us to pick it up, and then let us test drive it one more time before paying the rest of the fee. The dealership even got us a deal on a warranty for the car.
