having recently moved back to dundee was overpowered with options of hairdressers and not knowing people locally could not have 1 recommended, but this wee place winked at me everytime I passed it after taking junior to school. And I am so glad I eventually chose Karen james, I rate customer service highly and wow this place made me feel so welcome and at home and what a brilliant job was done, and I observed they're cleanliness and was very impressed, no stone was left unturned. All I can say is thank you girls, and you have gained a regular, and i will definitely recommend yourselves to anyone.Take care and stay safe xxx

Emily done my hair this morning, she done an excellent job on natural curly hair and done the best straight hair I've had. She is just awesome and a hard-working lady.Jordan done my husband hair, he had long hair now he got an amazing short hair, the one thing I'm proud of her is the way she handled my husband's anxiety I just need to say that I'm grateful for the way she delivered her customer service and a very delicate approach.Thank you guys see you soon.

Visited Karen James today for the 1st time, had a cut & blow dry. Brilliant cut &I'm over the moon with it! Karen was lovely, friendly and really listened to what I wanted. She even offered special shampoo as I have psoriasis on my hairline! That was a 1st for me and so appreciated. Wish I'd found this gem off a shop years ago and have booked to go back. Couldn't recommend her highly enough!

Friendly family run business. Covid-19 measures carefully thought out and cleanliness can't be faulted. Stylists very experienced, offering great advice at same time as listening to customers requests.

I am so happy with my experience at Karen James HD. The salon is beautiful, very clean, modern and spacious, with good parking and accessibility. This is a great salon for people with disabilities/ additional needs, wheelchair users, and those who have been shielding or are vulnerable to COVID. The stelar safety measures and lovely, friendly staff really put me at ease. I especially loved the adjustable sinks! This actually makes a big difference if you have neck issues. Karen is clearly a naturally kind and caring person who prioritises the safety and wellbeing of her team and her customers. Affordable prices and great service. I cannot recommend this salon enough! I also love my haircut! Very tidy :). I have done a more in-depth review on Euans Guide (for access reviews).
