Platform One
Went today for the Sunday carvery, the food was excellent with generous portions, friendly, efficient staff.However we didn't stay as long as we expected due to the background music being too loud along with the live 'music' outside, both clashing with sound.Will be going again but not on a Sunday, even for the lovely food

First time back here in a few years and what a downturn! The food was disgusting. Burnt Yorkshire puddings. Roast potatoes that were near impossible to cut. Fatty steak and ALL 3 meals were the same. I'll not be returning. We did not raise this on the day simply because the food was constantly bad, all 3 meals were burnt and inedible which in my eyes reflected accurately the establishments quality control on food going out of the kitchen. And I didn’t want look like we was out for a free meal! Which some owners, not all, may try to offer to deter you from reviewing accurately! Sorry, just being honest!

We went for a long walk about found Platform One and what a find. It's clean, inviting and the food was superb. The Lasagne was the best I've ever tasted. The Sunday roast is defitnitely getting done soon

What a beautiful public house. This place was once our local before we started travelling. It’s so warm, welcoming and friendly. Food is always amazing, with an introduction to a dog friendly area. Absolutely love this place. Come and see for yourself.

Absolutely love this place. The food is delicious, prices are good and the portion sizes excellent. The staff are all friendly and efficient. We've booked to visit twice more in December!

We came here for a birthday celebration. The staff were very friendly and created a welcoming atmosphere, despite having a very large group to cater for. The atmosphere is great. The food was delicious and you can tell it's home cooked, not zapped in the microwave.I'd absolutely return to Platform 1.

Love the atmosphere, service and food. Reasonably priced, nicely presented and tasty. Staff always friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend a visit.

Family lunch for 15, second year we have been. In the upstairs room to ourselves. Good food and friendly service.
