What an absolute mess. A friend took me to see his boat. It used to be picturesque. I could understand the water being murky considering the dry summer but the weeds, rubbish, poor quality concrete and structures. It felt like driving into a breakers yard!

Pretty bustling area of Ely. Start of lovely riverside walks. Excellent huge antique shop near by. Good cafes.

Really good location but as a Marina is is very lacking in the way it is run. The toilets & ablutions are dreadful, the showers would not be acceptable in a refugee camp. The prices are quite high to keep a boat here but what you get is woeful! Definitely needs a different approach from owner who is known all round Ely as being somewhat stingy!

Beautiful area but a very popular spot to hang out! Super busy at weekends with lots of kids running around so perhaps avoid if you don’t like children. A couple of places to get food and drink and usually an ice cream van parked up in the summer months.
