We moored here for a few days in our narrowboat. It's a little oasis amongst the urban sprawl. Kept spotless by friendly volunteers who also run a very reasonably priced cafe. Lovely walks with the dog, lots of wildlife and history too. And lots of friendly locals to chat to. Also a handy waterpoint for boaters.

Haven't been there for a few years. Went back there yesterday. What a gem of history and tranquility. A warm friendly welcome at the canal side cafe. Can't beat a cup of tea and ice cream cone.Non of that plastic malarkey it came out on a tray proper cups, milk, sugar etc. It was like entering a friendly community with everyone chatting to everyone. Are we going back oh YES!!

Lovely place to stroll and enjoy nature, a small carpark that usually has spaces and plenty of things to see and do either by the canal or in the fields and woods. Always plenty of birds to spot and people out to say hello to. It is also the entrance to Netherton tunnel, Europe's longest double toe path canal tunnel. Worth a walk through, but you'll need water proof shoes and a good torch.

Some good paths for walking and some a little muddy but generally a very well kept nature reserve with some wonderful spots for views across the black country. Places to perch and sit, a great range of grassy, hilly and gravel terrains.

Love walking down here, before last March we only ever visited for the annual boat show but since lockdowns began its been our daily exercise walk. It's so good as we love within walking distance, there's always something to see. Fab way to blow the cobwebs away!

Sunset Bluff lives up to its name with breathtaking views of the horizon. The vantage point is well-maintained, and the benches offer a comfortable spot to watch the sun dip below the skyline. It's a perfect spot for a romantic evening.

The cafe is dog friendly and they sell bags of duck food for £1. Nice and clean no litter
