Magpie Wood Caravans & Glamping

So peaceful, just the relax we needed. The staff are lovely. Easy to book. Only problem was, having to leave. The hot tub was amazing, the pod was cosy. And the pub on site was great! We will be back! :-)

Stayed in our caravan for a week, gorgeous location beautiful quiet site.

A fab glamping site! They are always upgrading the pods/hot tubs and building new ones and each one gets better and better! You never feel too close to the next pod either. Dog friendly. The shepherds huts are a great size and have their own shower room. The staff are on hand at set times when you need them and they are always super friendly. And there is a pub at the bottom of the hill just outside of the site where you can get drinks/food. We visit Magpie Woods every year and still find new places to explore and new things to do. The area is also very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend!

We had a great long weekend at this little campsite. Nice spot with everything you need including washing machines/dryer, pot washinv area, microwave, kettle. Shower and toilet block cleaned every day. Restaurant /pub also on site. Dog friendly and secure. Glamping pods with own jacuzzi if that's your thing. Right on the Cleveland Way, we walked to Saltburn one day and Staithes the next. That said the beach at Skinningrove is amazing too. We will be back, thank you for our stay.

My partner and I had a fantastic night in one of the glamping huts on our final night walking the Cleveland Way. The hut was very clean and comfortable and the hot tub was phenomenal. Jeff who worked there was so kind and welcoming when we arrived and even booked us a table at the nearby restaurant Kaskane. Would highly recommend!

We stayed in our motorhome and love it there. The site is clean and tidy and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

What a lovely site. There are 10 generously sized hard standing motorhome/caravan bays with fake grass and a nice picket fence around. Electric hook up in the corner. The toilets and showers were lovely. Plenty of hot water (too hot for my liking) and warm. So often campsites don't have heated facilities and when you go out of season it's always a rush to get dry and put your clothes on. Not the case with these facilities. The lady who greeted us was very nice and efficient. She gave us a guide of what was around the local area, food, taxis, buses etc. Very useful to have. The beach is about a 5 minute walk away and there's a local chippy not too far away. There is a bus route about a five minute walk away which goes from Middlesborough to Whitby and loads of other places along the coast and is pretty reasonable. We didn't stay or look at the glamping pods but they looked nice from a distance. I'd definitely stay there again. My only negative comment would be - we were in bay 2 and in bay 1 was a very grubby looking caravan. Looked like it had been there for a while. Bit of an eyesore and could do with a jet wash. Aside from that, everything was really good and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this place.

Absolutely Beautiful peaceful countryside location. Spotlessly clean, Showers plus toilets plus a microwave oven in an insight kitchen. Friendly Staff. Absolutely amazing layed in hot tub in peaceful dark of the night looking up at the moon and stars. Ideal for relaxation. Strongly recommend it.

Well spaced touring pitches. Lovely small, well maintained site, perfectly situated for a short walk to a sandy beach, or short drive or bus to other scenic and tourist fishing towns.Very friendly and welcoming staff/ management.Facilities always kept very clean.

Excellent location close to the beach. Staff were very professional and polite and always waved. Facilities were excellent and very clean. Stayed here for 4 nights. Met by a lady who said she had been with them since September - very polite and helpful will stay again Thanks
