DERMATOLOGY “ I ended up spending £200 to have a worst skin then when we first encounter with a new skin condition that I had no idea how to deal with.”I book an appointment with Dr. Andy Affleck.Dr. Affleck was aware that I didn’t have a high salary back then and that I was turning to the private sector to make sure I had results.My feeling leaving was that he is only here to prescribe you creams as he was not able to tell me the cause of my change in skin condition even after going over my diet and daily routine change.I was not happy with my skin appearance so I decided to trust Dr. Affleck and start applying epiduo 0.1% / 2.5% Galderma. Aware of my full skin care routine he ensured that I was able to apply it maintaining my normal skin care routine containing a niacinamide serum.I ended up with a flaky, itchy, sensitive skin that kept its shape when I would crease my eye (similar as when have glue). At first thought it would be make up but it went back to normal when I stopped applying the E/G solution.I am writing this review 3 month after stopping. I have worn make up in between. My skin improved but it still doesn’t answer to my standards however my experience with Dr. Affleck definitely discouraged me from consulting other dermatologist in the UK for aesthetic reasons in the future.I also had a chalazion and I thank him for admitting that he was not able to remove it himself (even thought he said he could when we met).The minimum would have been to :- Redirecting me towards a service or another adapted doctor or even colleague- Some reinsurance, advice or compassion- Suggesting a financial or service compensation however small it could beI still gave 3 ⭐️ as he appeared available during the only time we met in person. He will send you informative sheets on your current condition but not the treatment itself. He would be adapted to people who wants a quick and short term fix, happy to rely on creams for an extend period of time. It is a different approach. And I also understand that you can have moments were you are a bit less invested in your patients.

Fantastic experience on two seperate occasions. I saw the Dermatologists and had bloods taken. Professional and friendly staff. I highly recommend their service.

I'm not normally one to write reviews but my experience at Tayside Complete Health was excellent. I had an appointment with dietician Declan Fields yesterday and he was fantastic. He reassured me about any worries I had concerning my diet plan, offered really helpful advice and was also just generally very friendly which made the whole experience far less intimidating. He went above and beyond to answer any little question I had and all of his advice was clearly grounded in excellent medical knowledge so I definitely felt in safe hands. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone!

The administration was inaccessible and stressful, despite excellent care from the specialist GP.

The clinic unexpectedly took payment for an appointment at the time of booking despite a 5 month waiting list for the appointment. They then cancelled the appointment a month before it was due because they no longer offer that service but have not (yet) issued a refund a week after cancellation. So they have held onto a large sum of my money for 4 months for nothing and now refuse to say when they will refund (in due course "). I am considering legal action.EDIT: I received a refund on September 29."

My daughter is currently attending clinic. Fantastic consultant but shocking service behind the scenes. Don't answer the phone, waited far too long for results and now waiting for prescription! Quick to charge for the services

If you want seen quicker than the usual route then this is the place to come.

Posting on behalf of my unwell partner, Helen. I had an email on 21st September cancelling her appointment in the ‘long covid clinic’ (she doesn’t have long covid…) and assuring a deposit refund in due course.It’s now two weeks later and no sign of the refund, which is not an inconsiderable amount of money. Very concerned about why they can’t seem to access our money (and other peoples by the look of it) to return it to us.We also thought it very bad practice that the cancellation email was a ‘no reply’ address and they don’t appear to have another email address. I have contacted them via their website contact form but of course have received no reply. I will now be contacting Citizens Advice regarding how to progress with this issue.In Conclusion: BEWARE.

This clinic is appalling. The only good thing about this clinic was the doctor who I saw who has now left - speaks volumes! My appointment was cancelled weeks ago and I STILL haven’t received a refund. I never received a copy of the doctor’s letter and neither did my local GP surgery which is partly what I paid for in my initial fee.
