Working with Merge Lab was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We knew the job we had for them would be small but tricky and Jan at Merge Lab rose to the challenge to making everything look seamless with a great attention to detail. Merge Lab built me a beautiful new kitchen including replacing flooring, removal of old tiles on the floor and walls, replastering , painting and part tiling walls. All workmen I encountered were very skilled, and always did a very professional job. The boss was always available if needed and I was able to reach him whenever required. I was consulted on any issues that cropped up for me to choose from available options so I was confident whether I was present or not. I felt confident with the quality of the work and was confident to leave Merge Lab with a set of keys

I think everyone has a bad builder story (or probably a few) and maybe it's scarred you - difficult, rigid, unhelpful, unreliable, rude - we've done a few projects over the years and have encountered our fair share of them - so it's such a relief and a breath of fresh air when you find someone honest, skilful and genuinely helpful like Jan and the team at MergeLab.No project is perfect and we're amateurs at managing a build project, but Jan has been a calm partner who is logical, flexible and genuinely a nice person to be around - he's offered advice, gently and effectively prodded on deadlines, pivoted without complaint when things haven't worked out as planned and every time he said he would do something or be there at a certain time, he 100% delivered.That reliability is almost unheard of, the quality of the work is excellent and really I can't recommend him enough. I look forward to working with him and the Merge Lab team again in the future.

I've used Merge Lab for residential interior renovations, from smaller jobs to a large scale complete refurbishment. I've found them to be honest, trustworthy and with a high level of competency in all areas ranging from painting and decorating, electrics, plumbing to more detailed finishing work. Most recently we did a complete soundproofing of a party wall with amazing results both technically and aesthetically. One more thing to say is that the level of detail in the finishing is excellent - attention to detail and spending the time to get it right is so important and this is always present in their work. I recommend them to both friends and clients alike.
