It's a fantastic pub with a worthy cause. All staff were super helpful. The food, I had aubergine stuffed with fresh veggies and couscous, was fresh and really tasty. I tried all of their (Tap Social) beers and although not my preferred style were all in good condition and flavoursome. Family friendly. It's totally recommended.

This is our favourite local pub - we love their own Oxford brewed craft beers and the welcoming atmosphere. I recently reserved some tables for my birthday drinks here and we had the best time. Jon, the General Manager, was really attentive and accommodating. Highly recommend!

So overpriced and dead. Was severely underwhelmed given the other Tap Socials are so welcoming and friendly, with a great range of drinks, to find this pub only has about 5 drinks and they're majorly overpriced. Server was friendly but agreed that there were better pubs elsewhere.

First visit and I'm a fan! The food was excellent, some delicious vegan choices, which made me happy. The staff were all super friendly and the atmosphere was perfect for a Saturday night - busy, fun but also relaxed. Great pub.

Great beer, clean pub, clean facilities. Pretty stone faced staff. Asked for a beer.... it's off. OK no problem. Asked about the next one. What do you mean?Just asked if it's a Lager or a pale as I could not see the back bar.Not rude in anyway. Just not friendly or even smiling or welcoming. The original is great. The Whitehouse is ine of those that is not bad but not bothered about coming back about.Correction: there was a kid running around and on the pavement. Guy comes running out and asks him politely and gently to stay within the pub and go back. Good lad!

We enjoyed our Sunday roast here, mainly because of the nature of the project we became aware of through Tap Social beers. I love the project and am really keen to support. The pub food was very tasty, but the portions fairly small, not really matching the prices. The staff are friendly, but the service is very slow and a few prods were needed along the way for menus, to take orders or the accompanying bread sauce to be provided.

A very lovely spot. First of all, beer is good. Selection well spread so all should be able to find something to their liking. Food was fine. No frills but very worth the price. Mood/feel is just nice, clients of all ages and types. Felt at home from first visit.

The pub went through serious renovation as soon as it was managed by TAP. The interior part is pretty much the same like it used to be but the garden around is the big asset of the place now. You get this refreshing feeling. The menu has it's own style, it's not the typical British pub food therefore it is highly recommended to check the menu through their website (or photos provided in this review) before you visit the place. I am afraid there are limited dish choices and even more limited food selections for kids. The food overall is pricey but this is in accordance with the trend now days in Oxfordshire with all these gastro/special pubs. Just a note regarding the food, this bite" of sausage role that costs 4

First time I was here in summer 2022, I was impressed by the creative food menu and friendly staff. Unfortunately now it was a wholly different experience. Where the beer selection is great, the food menu is quite basic and the staff seemed disinterested. The kitchen seemed to have run out of many ingredients on the menu but we weren't told when ordering or when being served, we just had to find out ourselves while eating. The kids menu was too spicy.Rating is an average of my two visits...
