There isn’t a “real” HiFi store in the town where I live but DNA Audio are about 20 miles away so I contacted them for advice when I wanted to upgrade my system. My initial contacts were by email and I received some suggestions for upgrades and a lot of clear answers to my many questions. The replies I received were always prompt and often at times when the store was not even open. I did eventually travel to the store where, in a nutshell, I upgraded my aging Rega turntable and Cyrus amp to the Planar 3 50th anniversary edition turntable and i7-XR integrated amp, trading in my old equipment. I’m delighted with the new gear and the amp has greatly improved the sound from my old CD player into the bargain. I might think about upgrading my speakers in the future and would not hesitate to use DNA again.

Discovered DNA Audio in the pursuit of an out of production pair of Rega speakers and was lucky enough to find what I wanted at DNA. Darren was very welcoming, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with and his business is a hidden gem in the depths of the West Yorkshire countryside. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend DNA Audio and will be happy to deal with them again.

We wanted a replacement for a very old amplifier & cd player. Darren gave us an exemplary level of personal service, including listening to a range of equipment in his excellent listening room, giving good & knowledgeable advice, & letting us try out speakers at home, with the amp we bought. He then fitted everything up for us. We would throughly recommend DNA audio, & will happily use them again, in the future.

Great experience when upgrading my Hi-Fi separates at DNA Audio.Darren is super responsive to email queries and as a Rega authorised dealer was able to answer all of my queries re the Planar 3 50th Anniversary Edition. I popped in and had a lovely relaxing listen to the turntable - Darren just left me to it so I could change records and have a proper test.I made a last minute decision to upgrade my amp as well, and Darren got the amp in the next day to arrive before I picked up the turntable, which he had set-up for me and boxed up, to make things super simple when I got home.All in all, a great experience and I happily recommend DNA Audio. I'm very happy with the products now I have them at home, they sound great! Thanks Darren.

My first purchase from Darren at DNA Audio and possibly not my last. The Friendly and knowledgeable service was very much appreciated as I have a very basic understanding of hi-fi. Nothing was too much trouble, from spending time listening to options in the shop to regular email communication. It really helped me to decide on the right system for me. Darren even kindly came round to install the system which was all part of the service. I would definitely recommend this place for all your hi-fi needs.

He invited me to a listening event where Cyrus, Chord Company and Neat Acoustics presented and demo their newest technologies in a fantastic audio room at DNA Audio premise. It was mind blowing! Extremely happy and grateful to Darren.

I visited DNA Audio on 5/12/23. We travelled some distance and suffered delays. I was very grateful to Darren as he waited for us to arrive. The item I was interested in was already set up for me to demo. He quickly found some music I know well and after a short listen, I was happy. A new boxed Cyrus i7 XR was ready to take away. Great service from Darren, thank you with the added bonus that their price for the amp was the best I could find on the internet. It's almost run in at the time of writing and I'll be giving it a proper listen later this afternoon. Initial thoughts are excellent!

My second major purchase from Darren at DNA and I'm sure it won't be the last. Darren is incredibly knowledgeable, thoroughly professional and extremely accommodating in terms of arranging visits to the shop or in terms of home visits to set equipment up correctly. Good part exchange offers too make the buying experience easy (although not on the wallet which admittedly isn't Darren's fault!!). I would have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in reccommending Darren and DNA. Thank you.

I chose DNA Audio after talking with Darren. He was thoroughly professional and friendly helping me to find a new turntable and cartridge combo. Darren also has one of the best range of products between Leeds and Manchester. I’ll definitely be going back to DNA in the future.
