The biryani was really tasty and met my expectations, but of course, I tried Behrouz in India, and certainly, it has a little bit less chicken from India. Anyway, that is not going to affect your mood for having a yummy and delicious biryani here in the UK.For the price range, Behrouz is always on the higher side, even in India, but it's worth a try.You might find it difficult to locate the shop if you are going to dine in to the Birmingham city center location because it is in the pret e manger's shop and it is just in front of Milan restaurant.

The Biryani is heavenly here. Tried both the mutton and the chicken biryani and both were juicy and delicious! Seekh kebabs were also crisp and nicely done. Naveen was the most helpful!

Highly disappointing! Went all the way from Stafford to have this highly rated Biryani, we got a smallest mutton biryani portion for £17 and chicken for £16, 95 % was rice and 5 % was mutton and chicken respectively. Honestly really ruined our moods would not recommend to anyone for the price and location. Also named as Ollie's kitchen if someone is struggling to find them.

Good biryani tasty but the place is a takeaway with a few tables. I went in expecting it to be a dine in which it does appear like!! All food was given in takeaway style boxes in a paper bag to go. However food was the saving grace with a nice Blaby style biryani.

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly especially Naveen ,They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and they are making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, some Indian classics and some twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it.

I have ordered from here 3 times in the past month or so. Each time the food portion got smaller and smaller. Today was the third time I ordered and I have to say I was shocked hence I decided to amend my review. The kebabs appeared to be old, dry and reheated. Given I ordered on a Saturday one would not expect this. The portion was much smaller than previously and totally different quality/texture than before. Very disappointing. They advertise a cucumber raita but it’s just green chutney/dip in the smallest of containers. Most places charge 20p for such dips but these guys charge over £2 for the same thing. Very misleading. The biryani arrived today for the third time in a different container, again smaller than previously.I have to say I am extremely disappointed given they are a new business and shouldn’t do this if they want repeat custom.

Tried their biryani in Birmingham and was blown away with the taste. Easily the tastiest biryani I’ve ever tasted. It was mouth watering with perfect blend of authentic spices.Great price and high quality. It is here to stay. I am a permanent customer.Do try people, you would be glad.

Mutton biryani for two people was full of flavours proper indian style nothing like you usually get in this country it was a little spicy so only the brave can handle it i dont think kids will be able to eat it without complaining. Behrouz biryani is very famous all over india so many outlets just in mumbai itself.Seekh kebab were mouth watering but they were on the spicy side so younger children will complain. The only issue i had was the portion was stated as for two people but it was more like one will eat full stomach and the other will eat half stomach.Otherwise quality and taste wise its number one biryani in probably the whole of birmingham. Keep it up guys just consider the portion sizes. Will go back definitely.

I am exhausted of trying to find a good biryani in the UK. If you know a place let me know too. I am from India and I know how biryani should be. This one, I'm sorry but it is not edible and it's not a biryani. I dont think the £17 is even worth £5. You sell at a high price only when you know you are good at it and that's not the case here. They are trying as you can see the note but what I can tell is they don't seem to know what a biryani is and then they are selling it to others. They may improve but not to an authentic level.

Highly disappointing biryani. Considering the fact that the restaurant is called 'Behrouz biryani',one would think they specialise in biryani. Ordered the mutton biryani which turned out to be just Pulav rice with mutton curry which was flavourless. The lamb seekh kebab was something you would get in the frozen section of Asda or Tescos. Only the packaging and aroma was good.
