Global English TESOL/TEFL Courses

I will be ever thankful for Global English TESOL, I did 120 hours course and landed a good teaching job in China. Highly recommended for a non-native speaker like me too. The guides are helpful and gives you critical feedback which helps in your learning as well as your teachings in future.

I have recently completed the Global English Enter English online course. It was very easy to follow and I could work at my own pace. The topics were all relevant, with useful examples and suggestions for websites. William responded quickly to my feedback, sending me a link to a text which discusses common issues for learners of differing nationalities. Subsequently, there have been 3, 1 hour webinars lead by William and/ or Louisa, all of which have been interactive and provided useful ideas for teaching, focussing on beginners to a large extent. Unfortunately, I can’t attend the final webinar, but will be able to watch a recording of it later in the year. This has been a valuable experience, lead by friendly, helpful tutors. Thank you.

Hi, I have now completed two courses with Global English and am thinking of taking a third course. I found both courses very helpful in furthering my career as an English teacher. There are numerous links to useful websites provided within the course; these websites contain a wealth of materials across the board for anyone teaching English to students of all ages. The staff at Global English are professional and helpful and course tutors give constructive advice. Challenging at times the courses are designed to help a teacher to improve, perhaps even to think a little outside the box when teaching and engaging with students. I have now taken two courses from Global English--the 120 Hour TEFL certification and Teaching English Online. I was a bit skeptical about the quality of these online courses, but there was no reason for concern. Global English does a wonderful job. I have completed many Global English courses over a time span of two decades. This includes a 250-hour TESOL Certificate, a TEO Teaching English online course, and various short spotlight courses, a zoom training course, and a short course for teaching warmers and engagement activities. More recently I have found the Enter English course and live webinars to be as encouraging and affirming as they are useful. Every course has been excellent value, and there is a supportive, empowering encouraging feel to the feedback, whether you are not yet teaching, or, if like myself. you have been teaching a long while and appreciate the updates. I've just finished a 150 hour Tesol course with Global English. It was a great experience and I'm ecstatic to have got my certificate. The course is well designed, fun and informative and there is lots of support. My Tutor, Kerry was excellent-giving relevant feedback, encouragement and constructive criticism when needed. I have just completed my 3rd course with Global English and once again I am impressed by the clarity of the teaching, the speedy response to any questions and the support from the tutor allocated to the students. The content was useful. and clearly taught in modules. The extra resources are extremely helpful for further study. I cannot fault the courses which are great value for money. There is a (generous) time limit for completing each course, with an option to pay for extra time. This ensures that we finish the course within a specific time frame which was a good discipline for me! Well done and thanks, GE team

I have just completed and really enjoyed the Global English Phonetics Course. As a freelance online English teacher, I am always grateful to be part of a bigger community and develop my skills through trusted learning platforms such as this. It was manageable to study in bitesize pieces alongside my work and very helpful to have quick and personalised feedback. I have learnt a lot and am already using the gained knowledge in my lessons to help students with specific pronunciation difficulties. I have more confidence after the course and have more material to use in order to best support my students. My goal is to do one of Global English's courses every year to stretch myself and keep learning. Maybe a course on how to use AI tools in the classroom would be interesting to do next?! Thank you.

This course came highly recommended and I wasn’t disappointed. In fact, I was expecting a ´grilling’ and having to study hard. It turns out that it was really enjoyable and most importantly useful.The questions are not there to trip you up but you will need full concentration to get through. The online section was eye-opening and I’m sure it’ll take some navigating to find the right formula for me.Kerry was assigned my tutor. She was always professional - feedback within a few hours of my submission and with really useful tips and advice too.Congratulations to William and Louisa and the team for delivering a wonderful course. I have done a few courses with Global English. The content is useful but beyond that, the tutorial support is excellent.
