Ordered my stairs carpet from the Shirley store, never had to actually go into the store which was great for me! All ordered and paid over the phone.All the staff were brilliant from the start, even when i was being a right pain, they couldnt do enough.Massive thanks to the guy who left me detailed voicemails answering all my questions, cant remember your name but i knew from that point that the customer service was going to be exceptional.The messuring guy who came and gave me my quote was a great guy, respectful of the house, very knowledgable and just very pleasant and happy guy.I must give a special mention to Alan and Harry too, aftercare is amazing. Both went out of their way to help me, they couldnt do enough, even after id had my fitting completed.Catpets are great too

I would ignore the negative post. I am in shirley and I was advised by the young lady and I was very impressed with the support and advice. We shoukd be supporting independent local suppliers.

Great instore service, very knowledgeable and quick.fitters excellent, removed shoes, very careful with paintwork and removed all excess materials. Great job guys.

Unfortunately I won't be using this shop again. As it is a fairly new store me and my husband who have lived in Shirley for over 15 years thought we'd see if they could offer anything different. They couldn't and the younger woman didn't know much about the difference between polypropylene and wool mix. It was very clear when we talked they had very basic knowledge and seemed uninterested. We left and went back to Floor Trends Ltd, Shirley. The team at Floor Trends know what they are talking about and fitted our whole ground floor. I definitely wouldn't recommend Poplar Carpets. Experience and knowledge is needed.

It is a poor service today. Two men are so rush to fitted the carpets as they have scheduled time slot. They make the wall of my house and foot line dirty and scratched. The shop manager said that they are not guaranteed anywhere may be scratched. They did not aware around when they are fitting in the carpet. They are not friendly.
