Preowned games £2-£5 more expensive that new copy on amazon just trying to rob old people

Faulty Xbox controller bought less than a week ago, returned in original box with receipt.Only offered replacement or store credit as return options. They will not give me back my money!I will never buy from GAME again. Massive shame, was a great brand growing up!

Went in on the morning of 8th of January to purchase a £600 PS5 , went to the desk to ask the member of staff if they had one in stock to purchase and was met with attitude and Sarcasm after asking politely , I don’t know if this is normal attitude for game or they’re just doing really well and don’t need a £600 sale or they hire people with no customer service ability or people skills. Won’t be visiting again due to staff attitude and terrible stock. I’ll take my £600 to Amazon.

Absolutely useless company. Happy to take £500 for the EAFC24 PS5 bundle but it didn’t even come with the code and now not helping even in store after nearly 3 weeks. Live chat full of rude disgusting “advisors” avoid these scumbags

The GAME staff were super helpful and knowledgeable about loads of games and offered great advice for new games to try. Will definitely come back again

What a disappointing first experience in a Game Store. Looking to purchase a Nintendo Switch and a few games for my children ready for Christmas.Firstly had to lower my expectations due the locations being tucked in the corner of a sports direct. However the “car boot sale” aesthetic is far from the high street retailer they still try to portray. Totally disorganised displays, in-accurate plot missing pricing and no clear path for customers to aid in their decision making process.Having done my research before hand, I was pretty sure in what I was looking to purchase. However the game selection itself was lacking massively, which is mind blowing considering the entire business model of “Game” is around video games! I had called into “Smiths Toy Superstore” a few doors down and priced / checked availability on everything I wanted.Was it wrong of my to assume I would get a better selection or advice from a video game store…..? I don’t think so. But that’s certainly not what I got.The final straw for me was the behaviour of the store colleges behind the counter. Rather than delivering great customer service and securing sales, they were idoly messing around with a female client who from what I could see, didn’t even make a transaction.I subsequently went back to “Smiths” a bought everything I wanted. Amazing service from the guys on the counter, including to other customers and more importantly their children! Everything in stock, and more importantly I saved almost £110 on the whole transaction due to “Smiths” promotions and multi-buys. Compared to the shelf edge pricing at Game.DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE……. Go straight to “Smiths Toy Superstore” just a few doors up.

No point going there, nothing work in there, staff and equipment. Been in 3 times in 3 days trying to pick up an xbox s through all access, been turn away 3 times, staff not train to do this, ipad is locked coz they forgot the passwords..... Stuff is unhelpful, Avoid this store.

Life saver with this opened up as the one in the pod closed down, needed a new PS5 controller and saved me a lot of hassle
