Cannot fault this place. Have been looking for a great Sunday Roast for a while and stumbled on The Old Bull & Bush!Parts of the interior may look battered and bruised but don't let that fool you. It feels very cosy.The service was fantastic....and we were dining with 3 young kids. The food was delicious and on the table with minimal delay, which may be a concern at times, but there was nothing to be concerned with in the case. Great portions (even the kids' roasts) and incredibly scrumptious.Worth adding there is a very handy car park for guests of The Old Bull & Bush, which is very convenient.Will definitely be returning for a Sunday Roast

The Old Bull & Bush in Hampstead is an absolute delight! My partner and I decided to make the short drive down from Watford via the M1, which took only 20 minutes, making it wonderfully accessible.Upon arriving, it was evident that the recent refurbishment had made a significant impact. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by an inviting atmosphere, and the restaurant section exuded a chic, modern ambiance. We opted to dine in the bar area as this charming pub is pet-friendly, and we had our beloved dog with us.Now, let's talk about the food. I had the pleasure of trying their fillet steak, and it was nothing short of perfection. Cooked to my exact preference, it was tender, flavourful, and paired with a the beef dripping sauce.Cocktails made to a really high standard too!The service was impeccable, and the staff were attentive and friendly. We also appreciated the convenient location, situated near the beautiful Hampstead Heath, making it an ideal spot for a post-meal stroll.In summary, The Old Bull & Bush exceeded our expectations in every way. We look forward to returning for another delightful dining experience."

Extremely disappointing meal. We had just come from a very long walk with no breakfast so honestly anything we got should have tasted great... Looks way way better than it tasted. Lamb was mediocre quality and a paltry serving for the extreme price (£25) and I asked for very rare but as you can see in the photo it was closer to leather boot doneness. The sauce tasted so burnt and it's incredible it made it past the cooks when it tasted mostly of charcoal. The veg it came with was not flavourful and very overcooked. Normally, I would have of course spoken to the staff to give them a chance to make it right but I was so hungry I didn't want to wait another 30 minutes for another try and we had to leave soon. The fish and chips were basically what you'd expect. The chips were quite nice but the tartar sauce was definitely not house made and the mushy peas" were just regular peas

We had a wonderful Sunday roast, the best ever for me.We were also delighted by how nice and professional the Team was, especially Julia.Her attention made our meal more special, she was discreet and friendly.I highly recommend this venue and I'll surely go back.

Great Sunday roast, we got the pork belly and chicken. They were good, could use a bit more flavour in general but still very good. The sticky toffee pudding was superb. Sunday roast is very well priced, especially for the area. £16 for the chicken, pork, or veggie and £19 for the beef or combo. Very affordable cocktails. On the weekdays all hours they have 2 for £12 cocktails.Beautiful location, the tables and settings provide a great atmosphere. The service is a bit slow but somewhat expected on a busy Sunday.

A nice Sunday roast near the heath. The food was quite good, but could have been a little bit more flavorful. I got the roast chicken and the texture was really nice. The service was decent, but it took nearly 45 minutes for our food to come out. The price was very fair and so I would recommend this for a good bargain Sunday roast. The sticky toffee pudding was really nice.

Very disappointing to see a place which was once a great pub in the area. For the last few months the atmosphere and quality have been changed and gone in wrong direction. Messy outdoor area, tables not cleaned. It’s not a good place to go on a date.and after several minutes later (last photo) It’s still the same mess. Very disappointing!

Parking is tight & to remember that for meal offers"

Very cozy restaurant. Our server was amazing, she made us feel welcome and definitely put a smile on our faces. We all had the same dish, roast sirloin of beef followed by berries meringue for desert. Certainly, coming back for more.
