Good day at the Farne Islands. Crossing was a bit choppy. Top tip - If you are getting off at Inner Farne, take a hat as the nesting birds will dive bomb. Bird poo is difficult to get out of hair after it’s dried.

Well worth the visit to get close up to a large variety of seabirds. Invest in a cheap poncho from the Farne shop at Seahouses before your trip, you'll not regret it

Regular visitor for our annual pilgrimage to pay homage to St C. Over the years we have grown to savour and count on the tearns for the life sustaining meat and feathers.

Not treated with the respect it deserves. The building itself is dirty and dusty, and the staff give talks at the back of the chapel with children climbing over the pews and tourists talking all the time. It's consecrated ground and should be treated as such.
