Thanks to Mr Michael O’Neill and his great team at Spire Hospital,Slough.Mr O’Neill did a great job on my right food bunion .

I had a great experience with Mr O'Neill. He did my toenail surgery less than 24 hours after my initial consultation, which was remarkable, and he put me at ease the whole time. I was nervous ahead of it, but I needn't have been because he is very good at what he does and I had next to no pain at all during and after the procedure, particularly considering the pain I was in beforehand. Aftercare has been a breeze as well, which had been one of my main concerns - I was back to normal activity very soon. The nurse he had working with him was also lovely. I saw him at two locations: the Princess Margaret Hospital and the Alma Medica, both of which are lovely facilities in convenient locations in Windsor with good parking. If ever I have foot problems again, I will be straight to see Mr O'Neill - thank you for fixing my foot!

I have had quite a lot of foot surgery over the last 15 years in an attempt to correct bunions and was left with a pretty painful mallet toe. Instead of returning to the orthopaedic team who had done my last op, I went to Michael on recommendation from a friend. I liked him instantly and had complete confidence in him. Michael performed an arthodesis on the 2nd toe of my right foot and also did a flexor tendotomy on the 4th toe which was unplanned but very worthwhile. I had this surgery with NHS funding at The Spire hospital in Slough and the whole process was faultless. I had a local anaesthetic, the procedure was completely painless and I did not need to spend any time in recovery. I was home within a couple of hours. I also really like The Spire hospital and felt that all the care I received there was exemplary.

I saw Michael O'Neill yesterday evening. After weeks of pain and discomfort with an ingrown toe nail.. Michael was able to resolve this in a matter of minutes. He is absolutely delightful and immediately put me at ease with his humour. I have no hesitation in recommending him for any feet issues. Many many thanks Mr O'Neill.... Regards Wilma Dunn

I had a foot injury for over a year which caused me major discomfort whilst walking or even if I put weight on it. I'd seen many doctors and had all of the scans but no one seemed to know what to do. I've had some treatment from Dr Michael O'Neill and within a few months my foot has improved vastly. I can now walk on it all day long and a lot of the pain has subsided. I would highly recommend and can't thank him enough for his help so far!

I had bunion and corrective surgery on two toes on my right foot 24th February 2022. Have seen Mr ONeill 3 times since surgery. The post operative pain was okay and not as bad as I had been led to believe. Needed strong painkillers the first 7 days but after that reduced to night and morning and stopped everything after about 2.5 weeks. Today (5 weeks post op) my dressing removed and had a good look at my foot. Skin dry and flaky but shape of foot so much better. Overall very pleased by result although appreciate I have some healing yet to do.

I have been under Michael's care for approx 12 months, initially through a private consultation, and then via the NHS at Wexham.Michael has helped me enormously with 2 problems - Plantar Fasciitis, and a degenerating joint in the base of my foot.After wearing the orthotic inserts , which were custom made by Michael, I am delighted with the results. I had a foot operation in July last year Michael O'Neill and his team were marvellous operation very successful no more pain would highly recommend him. Mr O'Neill is also a very nice caring man and has so much time in listening to your questions.
