New management have sharpened things up. We spoke to the manager who explained what they had inherited from the previous landlord, what they have done to date and plans for the future. All good.They had a good selection of beers and sitting in the beer garden was very pleasant. We won't be leaving it long to return.

What a lovely pub this is. Its a hidden gem in an already quaint quiet street with a great community spirit. The landlady, staff and clients are so friendly, great company, and they know their beers! Fantastic gin selection too! Love the garden - really quirky, fun and like a home from home.

We've played darts a few times against these guys. The pub is really friendly and we're always well looked after. The food is bloody fantastic. Thanks Maria ya legend.

It's been quite some time since I was in this pub and I have to write that I was thoroughly impressed with the refurbishment. Instead of two bars there is now one and it's very well laid out.The bar staff was helpful when my chosen ale ran out. The ale was also very well kept. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Well kept beer, regardless of whether it's local or not. The front room is cosy, with a carpet, fire when weather permits, and a smile to greet you upon arrival. Pool out the back. You'll always get a good pint here.
