Abbey House Museum Gardens

A lovely green space by Kirkstall Abbey. Nice place for a picnic or have a pause on a bench. There is also a small walled community garden.

It wasn’t as big as expected and the flowers weren’t that good. It didn’t seem very well looked after.

Pleasant green lung of Leeds opposite Kirkstall Abbey and just by the museum and café. It is a tiered garden with a series of stone steps up to the top. Benches to sit and admire the view. I think it's a work in progress, you can see a lot has been done but some beds hadn't been weeded. OK for the wildlife, I saw a little mousie critter, but it scuttled way to fast to be able to identify it. Some vibrant splashes of colour from the California poppies et al.

Very beautiful trees and flowers, a refreshing green space for walking and relaxing
