I would highly recommend Dc Shahmalak and the Crown Clinic. I was recommended by a friend who went 5 years ago. I had a consultation over facetime, and I was booked in pretty quickly for my treatment. I felt at ease during the whole process, the nurses were lovely and very friendly. I have had a follow up call after my treatment to make sure all is well. Its very early stages as I am only 2 days out of the treatment, so really looking forward to see the final outcome.

I had a hair transplant consultation withDr Asim Shahmalak , during 2018 , and it has been a life changing experience he was very enthusiastic , professional and a very friendly person , he explained all the details in relation to my hair transplant following the FUE procedure and what I should be doing , during the procedure and after care during my consultation etc . The results have been remarkable , it has turn the clock back to my younger years . Also , I am thinking of having the second procedure done to improve my density very soon . I will highly recommendDr Asim Shahmalak for his skills and excellence , he is the best in the Business . The team in the clinic were , also very friendly and helpful , always there , when ever I needed them , during the operation and after care , so I would like to thank them for their support .

One of the most arrogant and rude experiences I have ever received at any clinic , extremely bad experience I went to the clinic for a consultation and was insulted throughout the consultation by Dr Asim for asking questions related to the surgery after spending 100 pounds for a consultation. Apart from the arrogance exhibited by Dr Asim Shahmalik who constantly was saying he is the best hair clinician in UK, I found the experience very scarring. In the future I would highly recommend the clinic to think about patients feelings maybe they are already conscious stressed , depressed about there hair condition, maybe coming to a consultation was a big step for them, please do not insult people who come to you by saying to then do your homework before coming to our clinic and acting arrogant for past success , I am not paying 100 pounds to hear you praise yourself. Please do not go to this clinic for any treatment.

Crown Clinic rightly has a reputation worldwide for clinical excellence. The surgeon Asim Shahmalak has a wonderful relaxed manner and sees all patients individually before deciding if they are suitable for hair transplantation. There are no hard-sell tactics. The patient's needs always come first. He is supported by a fantastic clinic team. Patient co-ordinator Joanne South is warm and friendly and his clinic manager Afshan Shafi is second-to-none. Dr Shahmalak treats a lot of high profile patients. Check out his work with Jack P Shepherd from Corrie and Calum Best. They go to him because he is the best. Highly recommended.

I went for a hair transplant with Dr Shahmalak about a year ago and it's been a life changing experience. I had been noticeably thinning at the front of my hair-line for the past 5 or 6 years and it was really affecting my confidence, I'd just turned 50 and it was a terrible mid-life realisation that I was starting to look old. The results have been nothing short of remarkable - it has turned the clock back at least 10 years on my hair-line which is now much fuller and I can style it in ways that I used to in my 30s. I had my appointment in Dec 2018 and I was a bit nervous about it, but I needn't have been, it was pain free and not unpleasant. The team at the clinic were friendly and helpful and were always there on the phone with good advice if I needed it (which I didn't really). I picked December so that I could have a couple of weeks off work without anyone noticing. After six months you could really see the difference, I had my real hair growing back again. People would notice and say I looked younger but couldn't work out exactly put their finger on why because the change was gradual. After 10 months to a year the full effects were there and I'm absolutely thrilled by the result. I've thought about having a top up since but that's just me being over the top, as it's really not necessary.

Stunning and impressively immaculate.State of the art technology, spacious, airy and very inviting.This was before meeting an equally fantastic Dr Asim Shahmalak. I was struck how down to earth and humble he is. With immense credentials behind him, from a strong NHS background and the work he has privately carried out in his own time and money to help those acid victims in Pakistan to name a few.His bedside manner is certainly something a lot of people can learn to adopt in his field.I felt confident and safe.My initial consultation was amazing, Dr Shahmalak explained in-depth what to expect at every stage. I did not feel pressured to sign up,  I was given the option to think about it. Which really impressed  me. My questions were answered and was allowed to share any concerns.It was not like a sales environment with pushy sales men more concerned with reaching their targets set and earning a commission.This just demonstrates, the extent Dr Shahmalak will go to ensure his patients feel confident and safe. I had the luxury of actually thinking about my procedure and the end result. Designer eyebrows!!Dr Shahmalak has a fantastic team supporting him, Afshan Shafi the clinic manager, Joanne South the patient coordinator and the techniciansRosa and Aparna.Together they have created a professional, friendly environment. With patient care top priority. A beautiful private room is provided to relax before and after surgery. Lunch is provided, team would pop in to check I was ok. I felt very spoilt and fussed over!The actual procedure was surprisingly stress free, perhaps all of the above set in place was the secret to their success.I opted to have the FUE technique procedure which didn’t really hurt, just felt like pin pricks, if it did at any stage I did start to feel anything I would raise my hand and I was given more pain relief.In terms of recovery period, well, as long as you follow instructions to the letter, no water comes into contact with the area. Ensure you take the prescribed medicine and use the  saline spray provided. I took around 8 days off work to allow the bruising and swelling to disappear around the eye area.Remember, no make up or skincare during this critical period. You don’t want to cause unnecessary infections.You are on your way to show off your gorgeous designer brows.Important note, make sure you train the brows to flow in the natural direction. Trim them regularly.Also a handy tip, I came across many brow gel mascara wands on the market  with various shades to suit you. That really sets them in place and gives  them that wow effect !!For me, I was so glad I took that step to reach out and correct the damage caused by years of overplucking. Brows are so important as they frame your face, especially working in the beauty industry in a high end department store. All eyes are on you!You want to look your best. Also, I can’t explain how much time I save in the morning trying to draw on perfect brows that never look the same!12 months later - Well now, I can go make up free and feel confident going out.You can’t put a price on that!!!!Thank you Dr Asim for giving me back my confidence and to feel feminine again.

I had both FUT and FUE treatments in a single session, over a full day. Even though this was a surgical treatment, I still had the best time. I felt safe and comfortable at all times, and every effort was made to keep me comfortable and dignified. I always knew what was going on, and my post-operative care was made crystal clear. I am delighted with the outcome. Awesome experience - highly, highly recommended!!

I came across Crown Clinic while researching hair transplant procedures in the UK. Like many men, I had been receding since my late 20's and after spending several years stressing and losing confidence in my appearance, I made, what at the time was a difficult decision to under go a hair transplant.Having read many horror stories, I spent approximately 2 years looking into various high profile clinics across the UK/US and booked appointments, speaking with a number of surgeons, one of which was Dr Shahmalak. During my first meeting with Dr Shahmalak, we discussed my hair loss and the options available through both surgical and non surgical procedures. He was very open and consultative, sharing his knowledge in answering my questions and we worked out a procedure that would see me have a FUE operation extracting 1600 grafts (3000 hairs) transplanted into my hairline.Prior to the surgery I was supported by his team with a preparation pack which I was walked through over the phone. Being based in London I travelled up on the day of the surgery and upon arriving at the clinic was taken through the pre surgery procedure. I had the support of Dr Shahmalak's team in over coming my fear of needles and the surgery went smoothly and was uneventful. Post surgery I had been booked into a nearby hotel by the clinics team and was able to rest before travelling home the following day.13 months on and the experience has changed my life. The transplant achieved the outcome I had wanted, my hair has fully grown back and I now have the confidence in my appearance that had been missing for so long. I no longer wear hats to cover my hair and I no longer stress about whether someone is looking at me because of my hair or things like being caught out in windy or rainy weather. It has genuinely been the best decision I ever made and I'm writing this review for those who are in a similar position to the one I was pre surgery.If I had any advice to share, I would say the most important thing is to research and find a surgeon that has a proven experience and knows what they are doing. One that will consultant and work with you to get the right outcome for you.I am grateful to Dr Shahmalak and would recommend him highly as the whole experience, from our first consultation to catching up for a 12 month post surgery review has been fantastic.

Joanne the Patient Co-ordinator was quite rude and unhelpful. Really drags the whole image of the company down and I would absolutely recommend people look elsewhere where you'll receive some genuinely good customer service and someone who is interested in helping, not looking down on you and talking to you like you're an idiot.

Dr Shahmalak Knows exactly what he’s doing. 100% trustworthy, knowledgeable and also makes the whole process very easy going and simple.I’d recommend him highly for hair transplant surgery.
