As a relatively new employee, I have been welcomed into a friendly, customer and staff focused organisation. I am loving the opportunity I have been given, to use my skills to develop our staff further in their roles by delivering training and also getting out and about to see our staff delivering, highly skilled, compassionate and excellent care, has been fantastic!

Hhhmmmmm where to start....Firstly BB tried to hide this review by taking BB South Tyneside off the Google maps by calling it BB Newcastle. Same franchisee, largely the same staff. Same review below.This review could be a whole lot longer than it will be. We will try to be concise.This is a warning as such to anyone entrusting their nearest and dearest to Bluebird South Tyneside. My partner worked for them for a short period of time very recently and was shocked and disgusted by the attitude and ineptitude of the newly installed management team there. For clarity this may not extend to other branches of Bluebird. Presently staff are seemingly leaving in their droves, homevisits are often performed on an ad-hoc basis at best, and parts of the management team have the interpersonal skills of a polar bear. They seem filled with almost paranoid/deluded thoughts that they are being lied to by all staff members at all times. Also they are still taking on additional clients despite the utter lack of staff.Having worked in the care sector for much of her working career (30yrs) the experience she had at Bluebird is the very first time she has seriously considered giving feedback to the CQC about what she saw whilst working there.The owner of this particular franchise may be a lovely honourable decent man - we don't know. If he indeed is then we hope that this particular franchise is pulled back into a workable shape soon for him as he has likely invested around £100,000.00 in this branch. However if the toxicity stems from him then I would seriously suggest looking for another care provider. We shall be contacting him directly to hopefully reach an amicable solution to the treatment my partner received. By that we are not seeking compo or other, but actually being paid for the hours worked is all. That's fair isn't it?Whilst the current management is in situ at this branch I would avoid the place completely. The way the management talk about both staff and clients is despicable to put it mildly. If anyone is considering applying for a job with these then all we can say is good luck as you may well need it.Oh, and no, Muslims don't eat pork so be a little more polite to your employees in future. Just to add; we are not Muslims but we do have the capacity to respect other folks and their beliefs. This capacity stems from our ability to show humanity and general respect to others.Oh, and a secondary no! Many of your reviews seem a little iffy..... especially the one that gives 5* for various branches...Despite the experience my partner had we would welcome dialogue with Mr Haswell at any time as he may well not be aware of the day to day runnings on an intimate level.

I have been part of the bluebird family for 17 month, and can honestly say that I have enjoyed every minute.I have the full back up of my team leader and management at all times.I have gained so much knowledge for my role by constantly being updated by text email or in person.I would highly recommend this company for both as a employee and as a customer

My mum passed away recently and Bluebird care attended four times daily over a 7 month period.The care staff were very professional, exceptionally well trained and at all times, did not hurry and did their job properly.Further, they kept the family involved and informed and respected the family at all times. when my mum passed away, the care staff came later to pay their respects.A WONDERFUL CARE AGENCY AT THE TOP OF THEIR PROFESSION.
