Been receiving deliveries, and pleased with our orders. Carefully packaged and meat of a good quality too. Unfortunately I couldn’t find information on animal welfare on the site, and had no response to my e-mail re this. This was disappointing, and I have decided to shop at a butcher’s where animal welfare is seen to be a priority.

A week after placing my order, my order was cancelled.I emailed the reason for the cancellation, but received no response.I am very disappointed.I will use another butcher.

First visit here today.I bought rib eye, breast of lamb and sausages also asked for a bone to make a bone broth and recieved one gratis. Asked and was informed where their meat was sorced , a very pleasant and helpful team. I hope I've found my future butchers.

As a professional chef for 35years I can confidently say Tom's products are the finest you can by. Now with home delivery, with very nice drop off, polite, first name terms and everything ordered always spot. Quality deserves loyalty and I'm buying from Tom Wood. 5 stars all the way Tom thanks

The quality of the products as usual were second to none .. we found Tom in lockdown and have never looked back .. so much choice and superb meat .. you can’t get better than Dexter rump steak for crispy chilli beef yum yum

By far the best butchers ever! Personal favourites are the chicken kievs and Chinese pork steaks. Full of flavour and massive portions. Would give more than 5 stars if I could. Keep up the good work!

Having tried every local butcher, and every single cut, at every possible price point, I thought I would give Toms heritage breeds a try. I will never go back. The delivery was left in a safe place, with freezer packs in the box and layers of insulation, so it was still cool when I got back from work. The cuts of meat were beautiful - I did wonder if I would be palmed off with the stuff that had less counter appeal, but no, they were gorgeous. The meat it's self was outstanding. Already building my next order :)

As my elderly parents are self isolating and live a good hour away from us and are doing so well with this isolation we find ourselves in at the moment we decided to send them a treat to help them along so we sent them an order from Tom Wood butchers. They were delighted when there was a surprise knock at their door and a delivery on their doorstep at 08:19 in the morning on the exact date we were given by Tom Wood Butchers. The delivery was really nicely presented in a Tom Wood box and they took a picture to show me. So they have almost finished all of the delivery although its taken them over a week and each day they sent me a review of their evening meal (it's been giving them something to do) and they had loved everything we had sent them and have said that the meat was extremely good quality so I would certainly recommend this butchers as it has made 2 people very happy and helped them get through another week in lock-down. Also you can track your order so you know where it is which is a good thing as we all like to know when a gift has been received :)

First order last month. The meat and poultry is fantastic (as you would expect from a butcher vs a supermarket). However, the thing that really sets it apart is the packaging: beautiful boxes and super user friendly freezable bags. Ordered again and would strongly recommend
