Ugly Dumpling
A great lunch visit to Ugly Dumpling, my first visit although I’ve been meaning to go a lot earlier, beautifully decorated with creative dumplings all over. Great vibe and music to go along with great food, big portion of noodles and the dumplings although they look small in size, very filling!

Ugly Dumpling
It was a quiet evening, and the kitchen was about to close, so we ordered 3 platters that arrived promptly. The food was so delicious, we had to order another 3 platters before the kitchen staff left! Fantastic food - simple and delicious, just the way good food should be. All of the dumplings were delicious, but especially the mushroom ones, and the pecan ones...holy cow!

Ugly Dumpling is a super cute dumpling place in Soho. The highlight is the walls plastered with the creative pursuits of customers. You are given dumpling coasters and colour pens which you can then transform into something creative and it'll make its way onto the wall. The menu is also very unique with the dumplings packing a lot of flavours within them like the cheeseburger and spring roll ones. The interiors are a bit of a squeeze and the service was ok but overall, it's a really unique place with a fun concept and good food.

I felt like trying something a bit different, so we went to Ugly Dumpling. A restaurant focusing on unique, tasty combinations in their homemade dumplings.I was told ahead of time that Ugly Dumpling is incredibly small, and indeed It is. Upon entering, it appeared that only around 10 people could be seated. This area is very cramped, however I then learned there's additional seating in the back.If you're coming to Ugly Dumpling, I'd suggested keeping in mind you're going to be sat very close to other people, almost elbow to elbow. There's not much in the way of personal space, or at least near the entrance where I sat. That being said.I ordered the meal deal which included 5 dumpling and a bowl of rice noodles for £11 which honestly felt like a pretty good deal. The dumpings were fantastic and I'd honestly say they're probably some of the best I've ever had.The noodles could have done with something to make them a bit more tasty but they were alright. The service here was alright, although I got the impression that the staff weren't thrilled about being there. Not many smiles. Unfortunately these seems to be a common thing in Soho from what I've experienced so far.Despite what I've said about the lack of space here, the atmosphere is genuinely quite nice. It's cozy and colourful and the walls are decorated with coasters that previous customers have drawn and coloured in which really gave the aesthetic of this place a nice touch.Overall did I enjoy my time here? Yes. Would I buy from here again? Probably. But If I had the choice I'd probably order takeout or delivery. My main issue really was the lack of space. Would I recommend coming here? Yes. It's definitely worth trying, especially if you like dumplings. I'd like to go back and try their cheese burgers dumpings because they sound amazing, along with their other dumplings. If anyone wants a recommendation, the duck dumpling are amazing!

Ugly Dumpling
This price was a real surprise. They were very affordable set menu which includes some dumplings and noodles. We went for vegetarian options and the noodles were really tasty indeed, very nice flavour is the best I think was the spring roll. There is a happy hour from 3 to 6 pm, and the cocktails are actually really good. I would single out to Margarita has been beautifully balanced, and not too sweet. The staff were really friendly. They have a range of both vegetarian and vegan options. It just seemed a fun place to go

We went to the ugly dumpling in Fitzrovia. It's quite big and there is lots of seating. The dumplings were delicious. They have vegetarian varieties as well. I wish they had more sauces to eat the dumplings with, but overall good fun.

Delicious and inventive, an absolute treat and will definitely be going again. Our server was utterly charming and pointed us towards some great choices, the apple pie dumplings for desert were next level

Ugly Dumpling
I had the vegetarian platter and the original platter. Some very creative dumplings - I liked the cheeseburger and Thai green curry. The mushroom dumpling was very good so we order more The fried aubergine is heavy and greasy but delicious. The dessert are creative and a nice idea, I had the dessert platter and none of the desserts were good, the dessert dumplings were very hard/solid, difficult to chew, a bit of a let down. The restaurant walls are decorated with coaster that have been coloured in by children, it is very cute.

Great menu, great food for a reasonable price. Kind service and great atmosphere. Free tapwater upon arrival, refilled without even having to ask for it. I would definitely recommend! Place looks empty on my photo but that's because we were there short before closing time.
