Food was absolutely delicious and fresh, pricey meat portions could be bigger ,however on my second visit I ordered chicken okra and was given seafood they didn't change it ,lucky I wasn't allergic to seafood, I was flabbergasted that my soup had onion skin in it and rubbish ,they gave no apologies,I got up walked out and refused to pay,! I think I will go to the African restaurant in Cricklewood next time 84 West quality and quantity there.

Atmosphere doesn't count as we got delivery.Food was pretty bad. £50 pounds for some uncle benz rice and gritty soup. 3 chicken drumsticks that had been starved of food growing up, or was offered food from this place and decided they'd rather go hungry. Didn't taste of much at all. The pounded yam was nice (not the soup, just the yam)Food took a while to come (1 hour 15 mins when it's 11 mins away), not ideal but not the worst. If it was a take away for 12 pounds a head you could get away with it, barely. Not 25 pound a head.Didn't finish food, decided to eat crisps for dinner. The super malt was nice as it was bottled and untouched by these charlatans.

I had ordered Pounded yam with Ogbono soup with two separate portions of Goat meat and Assorted meat which came to a total of £32. Have a look at the photos I attached to see what I received. The meat in the Ogbono soup was literally bone. These people are thieves and the customer service is atrocious! When I called the restaurant to complain I was told by the manager that this ridiculously small portion was due to inflation prices which is now being reflected in their portion sizes. How ridiculous! Mark and avoid this restaurant! Nigerians are their own worst enemies at times.

Walked in with a friend and the guy came up and told us the prices are higher then they say on the menu.Straight red flag. The portion was tiny like the take away portion they deliver. How can 2 ogbono soup only have 2 peices if meat?1 portion of jelloff rice 3 meals cost £70 for 2 people? We was the only Asians in the restaurant the African customers that came after had bigger portions of food and I'm sure was charged less as they charged up £70.I recommend people not to go in there no more, service is rubbish prices are a joke.

Wasn’t a busy day but food was on point. Need more effort to create a vibe. Need an interior that reflects our culture. I really wish African restaurants would try harder to create better ambiance. Would help attract a diverse crowd.

The service was good, however when I received my food (goat stew & pounded yam) I was extremely disappointed due to the amount of excess oil that was in the stew, the temperature being very low & the food not being fresh, almost as if it had been taken out of the fridge and put in the microwave. (As seen in the picture, pounded yam is not meant to look this lumpy) I proceeded to complain and the manager told me it was fresh and that because they just open for the day that I should excuse them, but absolutely not... I myself am African and know when pounded yam and Stew is not fresh, I was extremely appalled, food should be made to a great standard regardless of the time of day. He then offered me a replacement of jollof + stew and plantain which was decent. I then asked for the bill and was very surprised at what the manager had said next.He asked me to leave a five star review, even considering the fact I was disappointed, there was no remorse, no apology.. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to eat at this restaurant. I will NOT be returning.

I ordered jollof rice ,chicken, egusi and okro soup. Although the jollof rice was really nice I really did not appreciate the egusi and the okro soup as they tasted awful and the okro was so full of water. I would appreciate if they improve with the way the soups are being made.

Overpriced, tasteless, non-existent service, and law breaking. We ordered jallof rice with ox tail and another jallof rice with chicken. The oxtail, as you can see, was 4 small pieces and mainly bones with around 2 spoons of meat in total. The meat tasted a bit damp, maybe indicating it was a bit old. The rest of the plate was JUST rice and two measly slices of plantain. The chicken was no better with the chicken dry to the sight and taste with a thick inediable top layer, clearly indicating that this dish was cooked much earlier in the day and reheated. Again, a small portion considering that these individual dishes are £16-£22 per plate! This is extortionate, especially considering the area the restaurant is situated in and that they're charging this price for a plate of tasteless rice! The drinks were also overpriced. We order 1 beer (£8) and one can of ginger beer (£4), and the lady would not allow us to order tap water. This is breaking the law! She insisted we order bottled water instead which we did after we were scoffed at and felt judged for even asking for tap water.A bill of over £50 for two dishes and 3 drinks is overpriced, especially considering the state of the food. Unfortunate to say, this has been my only 1 star review to date.***A note to the owner of the restaurant if you ever read this review. Please read the Licensing Act 2003 (Mandatory Licensing Conditions) Order 2010. This shows that restaurants that serve alcohol are legally required to serve water to paying patrons.

Still the best Nigerian meal I can find in London after 5 years of consistency. As an Igbo person from Naija you will definitely love the food here.
