Fantastic little shop, obviously with the vinyls being second hand if there is a specific vinyl you're looking for you kinda have to get lucky, having said that they have a large collection. Only went in looking for one came away with Three.

Without a shadow of a doubt this is the best record shop in teesside and darlington. Huge amount of stock and priced to sell too! Very pleasant, chatty and ultra knowledgeable staff to boot! If you're around the stockton area then this is a must visit. Don't miss out!

I stopped using Amazon several years ago when I realised that Sound It Out were cheaper.I've also got some great pre-owned records from them.It's always good to have a good chat about music with the staff too.

I'll always remember buying my first album here it eventually turned in to a collection and I now proudly own every album by the who thanks to tom and it's very sad news to hear about him passing away and the shop closing down if you wanted a record tom would get you it in excellent condition. Condolences to his family and friends

I Visited This Marvelous Record Shop for the 1st time Today, What a Brilliant Shop, I Wish I had Known about this Shop Much Much Earlier, Excellent Shop, Excellent & Friendly Stall and an Amazing Collection of New & Used Records, Cassettes and I Even Bought a DVD of Rammstein BRILLIANT !!!! I Will Definately be Going there Again!!! Thank you very much.

Independent record shop that sells used and new vinyl also Cds and cassette tapes. Very friendly and helpful staff. This shop sometimes has live bands in store especially when Stockton Calling is on. Also has Independent Record Store day.It's with very much sadness that The owner of Sound It Out Records Tom passed away on Friday 9th of June 2023. He will be truly missed thoughts and prayers go out to Tom's family friends and customers.Sound It Out is now Closed down. So sad.
