This is a nice looking pub. The first time I visited was in a quiet time, the food was quite good. During the quiz night evening, when it was much busier, the food portions were much smaller. My family had fish, it was very small. The staff are quite friendly, and prices are resonable. There might even be a deal on drinks, but you might need to ask or look carefully for signs of this. The first time I visited, they told me about a cider offer. The second time, I had to ask if it was still on as they didn't offer it to me when I ordered my cider, but it was still available. I would recommend a visit if you're in the area.

Been to Catherine’s inn multiple times, food is usually nice and affordable but recently has dropped a little in reputation. Went for a Yorkshire wrap and was very dry and clearly not fresh. Waitress took 20 minutes to give us more gravy so our food was able to be swallowed, place is going downhill slightly, hope it improves..

My wife & I took a car out for a drive and popped into for a bite to eat, we hadn't been here for years so wanted to come back. Once inside there's plenty of seating to choose from and the atmosphere is quiet and chilled with ambient music playing. Menu is a good selection of appetisers, mains, desserts & drinks. My wife had the steak salad and I had the big plate tikka curry. Food is delicious just like we remembered but my wife said that there could have been more sauce. Staff are friendly, polite & welcoming. There is amusements machines for the kids & outside play area to keep them busy. Outside seating is available for smokers or those who like fresh air, plenty of parking around the establishment.

Think twice before visiting. Microwave food is the only way to describe the food served at this pub/restaurant. The service was OK.

Shocking meal. Will not be eating there again. The gravy needed more liquid wouldn't even run of my fork, this was also in the burger, and tasted like i was eating just gravel granules. my lettuce was brown and very limp. Also my son burger with lettuce was brown. Burger bun was burnt, hash brown was soggy. Missing chips on the starter. Steak was ask for rare we got well done. Only good thing about the meal was chips. Nice and crispy. They said was short staffed in the kitchen after we ordered, to the next customer. but this is unacceptable. Shouldn't be sending food out like this. Rude staff serving us too. A customer asked how long the food will take. She said as long as it takes to cook. She had no politeness about her and very abrupt, a customer also returned a flat beer, she didn't even apologise. Just poured another and served it.

Had a drive out and found this pub. 6 of us were served pretty fast and it was pleasant. The food was perfect and my family were happy. Keep up the great work A+

It has been a few years since I last visited this place. The interior has had a little revamp, so there is more privacy.The food is excellent, having a steak and chips for myself and fish and chips for my partner, both meals cooked to order.I would thoroughly recommend a visit

Cheap but not very cheerful. Ordered medium rare steak but came out cremated and the burgers were undercooked and devoid of any taste. The chicken was nicer and the service was speedier than expected but wouldn't want to eat here again.

Went mid afternoon on a Friday, it was quiet and pleasant, we had a couple of drinks to start while we scoured the menu. The food arrived and looked as good as it tasted. I never picked a big meal as I had my eye on the Apple and berry crumble with lashings of custard, the perfect ending to a perfect meal. I even complimented the young waitress on her service and the rest of the staff, especially the chefs.Definitely recommend this lovely welcoming little country restraunt. Five stars from me.
