Dinas Island Farm

Great camp site , walking distance to the beaches, nice and clean with very good toilet and shower facilities , will definitely be returning

Unfortunately, our allocated pitches (no choice) for x2 tents were exposed to the full force of the prevailing (very strong) wind. The only available source of shelter (hedgerow) was taken up by several motorhomes /camper vans. When this observation was voiced to 'Site Manager' and her husband, responsibility for the mismatch of placement was neither acknowledged, resolved or explained. What could have been a wonderful (albeit windy) long awaited short holiday break, turned out to be (for me personally) an upsetting and stressful experience. Not only no accountability, but no empathy/apology ...... and extremely rude in the process. I for one (no great loss to the Dinas Island Enterprise I daresay) will not be returning, whatever the weather.

Geweldige views, ruime plaatsen, mooi gewandeld, faciliteiten simpel maar prima, douche is heerlijk, hygiëne laat wel wat te wensen over. Heerlijk geslapen want het is stil en donker.

I have really enjoyed my time at Dinas island farm campsite.You can get to awesome beaches via the coast path, including the ones along from Pwllgwaelod, heading towards Fishguard.You can walk to ‘seal bay’ from Strumble head lighthouse. Meet the greedy goats at CIFP (Cardigan Island Farm Park), the multi-million crabs at Cwm-yr-eglwys (you can walk to this one, as you can with Pwllgwaelod), and the dolphins possible to see at and around Dinas head.The places around here in Pembrokeshire truly ARE amazing (times 100,000), not to mention the perfect paddling spots! I can say -100 bad things about this site.Don’t forget to look out for the bats by the recycling barn at 9:00 PM!From Ollie - age 8

Excellent location, friendly hosts. However, toilets and sinks need a good clean! Heavy staining on the bottom of the toilets, they just need a good bleaching! Cobwebs been there a while also!... and toilet brushes need renewal....

The site is in a lovely location, basic toilets and very low water pressure to fill up with, steep and narrow entrance road but no problem as it has passing places.Now for the BUT…… There’s a serious Health & Safety issue on this site due to an electric fence very close to the pitches. Legally these need a warning at the start and end of the fence and subsequent warnings every 50m. This has none and it isnt obvious that it’s electric. My dog while on a close lead got a belt and off it which made him jump through the fence and consequently get another half dozen shocks getting him back through it. This could just have easily have been a child!!!

A steep drive up a narrow approach road leads to the camping field with superb views. A great base for a walk around Dinas head before returning to your camper or tent. We loved it here, but if your one of those who demand luxurious bathroom facilities, then this isn't for you. What is here is clean and perfectly adequate. There is a new shower block opening here in July 19 which looks really good. Excellent value for money.
