Bristol Linen Backing Service

Had an amazing experience using the Bristol Linen backing service. I had 4 fully autographed Star Wars posters that are worth considerable amounts of money. I did lots of research, and found that the Bristol Linen Backing service were the best. I en trusted my posters with Andrew and his lovely daughter, and I was not disappointed, they did a fantastic job. I was worried about the ink from the autographs being affected somehow by the procedure, Andrew reassured me that they would be well looked after and the ink would not be harmed in anyway by the process. I value each poster to be worth thousands as they have the original cast members autographs from the original Star Wars trilogy. I personally drove the posters 300 miles to Andrews service, as there was no way I was trusting the postal service with them. I'm super happy with how they turned out, they look amazing and are now ready for the framers. I recommend any serious collector to preserve their autographs/posters using linen backing, their prized posters will last for so much longer. I have just picked up a Paignton 1930's Original Railway Poster that I took to the Bristol Linen Backing Service in June 2019. The result is surpassed all my expectations. The poster was in good condition B+ or A- but I wanted to see if putting it on Linen would improve it - take away some of the creases and Andrew and his daughter were to work on some of the small areas of colour to be restored. Its now A+ and I have two other posters of Brixham and Torquay that I am going to take to Bristol to have them put on Canvas also. I couldn't recommend the service more.

I sent Andrew a poster I had bought online and thought was beyond repair however he returned it to me looking absolutely fantastic. He linen backed and then retouched and repaired to outstanding quality for a very very reasonable price. I will use him again and recommend his service to anyone.
