My child loves playing tennis at this club. It has a very good, homely atmosphere to it. The court roof helps enormously during rainy days. His coach Ryan is very enthusiastic and supportive. Definitely be recommending to all my friends.

A fun, well presented club conveniently situated in the centre of Sutton Coldfield. As an amateur player, I recommend Rusty Rackets on a Saturday morning and Tuesday evening for getting up to scratch with the sport - the teacher is very friendly. However, my one concern is the lack of a social scene. There's a nicely upholstered bar, but social events such as parties, shows or other venues are few and far between. Would be a suggestion to help players get to know each other. :)

I hope the location, current and prospective members take serious note of what I am about to write. This will be the most thorough, honest review that one could come across and for the premises to enforce positive change off of the back of it is in their best interest. There are numerous areas for improvement I am going to inform all of:-1) SERIOUS SEWAGE/DRAINAGE ISSUE - upon entering the toilets, there is a rancid, disgusting smell. After attending for some months, I realised this was being caused by a drainage issue in the sinks and urinals. When peeing in the urinals, the urine floods the urinal bowl being used. Mosquitos have preyed on this and infested the location in these warmer months - they reside in these overflowing pools of stagnant urine in the urinals and fly about around the gym after one has a wee/washes their hands, emerging from the pool if flooded pee!!! This is TRUE.2) NO SANITISER FOR USE - 80% of the hand sanitiser dispensers around the premises since I have been a member have been empty. The location has bogus signs around from the time of the pandemic about keeping yourself and the equipment clean through use of it and other so called disinfectants. However, there is never any to use!3) DISGUSTING MEMBER MISUSE OF THE TOILETS!!! - Without fail, everytime I use the toilets, those using the tennis facilities have clearly made use of them throughout the day prior to me entering. It is clear many have a high protein diet in the hopes of making them the next Andy Murray. However like most of society, they are misguided about protein's use. They eat them as a healthy alternative to real food (how misguided they are). This clearly gives them diarrhea as protein, if not used for the rebuilding of properly trained muscles following rigorous and consistent weight lifting, will make you need the loo for a deposit many times during the day (not pleasant). These scrawny members, filled upon on grenade bars, even though they do no resistance training and therefore have no need to eat them, clearly experience the protein go through" them. So

Been a member since 2001. This club is one of the best around with brilliant facilities and members alike, with of course a great bar.

Great friendly club in the heart of Sutton Coldfield. Cater for all levels of experience from beginners to Rusty Rackets! Super friendly for children and younger people too. Great club atmosphere, and the bar gets busy on a Friday night!
