If I could give minus stars, I would! I have no accounts with them & owe them nothing, yet they cannot produce a letter to me to confirm that my temporary & previous (last year) accounts are settled.

Appalling “service” , ignore letters sent to Rotherham complaints address. Ignore emails with photos attached. Ignore phone calls. Complaint registered 3 months ago online has just been ignored. Keep sending debt collection threatening letters addressed to a deceased person despite being advised of the death in January.

Supposed to get my refund within 14 days of my last bill according to your own policy. It has now been 3 weeks. Contacting you about this is very difficult; the only option you provide for me to chase up my refund is waiting on hold for undeterminable amounts of time. This should be a simple email or web chat issue but you've purposely not made it say. So glad to switch to a good provider... I hope you bleed customers. With such high profits having such a poor customer service team is unacceptable.

Your app does not work nobody answers the phone. I cannot get the answers I need. Absolutely useless. Unfortunately I,ve just signed a,12 month deal, more fool me!!

Really the very worst outfit I have ever come across.A dreadful lack of communication that is unless you enjoy speaking to South Africans who seem to have no idea how it works, but then if BG trained them you shouldn't be surprised!!Totally useless company!!

British Gas is a reputable company yet the customer service is appalling. Each time I have called, I have been misled and received a dishonest service. I do not recommend BG and I will be changing providers.

Signed up to HomeServe for boiler service. There were never any engineers available and I had already paid for product….waste of money.

Useless serviceThey don't follow up information or refunds promised. I have spoken too 3 agents promised refund of £1K + in credit an I'm on a smart meter and been with B gas for over 40yrs WHERE'S MY REFUND. Going to cancel standing order
