Awful company. I rented a property through them, which appeared to be lovely and in good condition. It turned out that there'd been substantial water damage throughout the property, and several unfixed leaks, which the company failed to fix. They were terrible at responding to emails, and their workmen failed to turn up on several occasions. I had to call environmental health in to get any results at all, and even now, they are trying to claim money for damages that happened due to their negligence. I would absolutely avoid at all costs. I've had to throw away hundreds of pounds worth of property because of damage due to leaks and water damage, and all these problems were highlighted BEFORE I moved into property.

A big thank you to RH & RW Clutton, East Grinstead who moved us into our new rental property, especially to Sam Benton and Nic Burchell. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always at the end of the phone to help. It was a hasty move on a short deadline and they pulled out all stops to get us in our new home in a professional and friendly manner.

From a landmark buildings perspective of East Grinstead this is one of the outstanding gems of architectural heritage. A simply beautiful building. I've often looked at the wonderful construction. And wondered its history. I used to do dowsing as a hobby years ago and marvelled at the apparent fact of all the underground catacombs and tunnels - of which there are many - seem for some reason to make for under this impressive old building.

As a first time buyer I've spoken to quite a few agents and been told all sorts of different things. With this company, I felt was looked down upon for what sort of property I was looking at (something very run down and in dire need of repair/renovation), and upon discussing offers I was told that I should go and ask your parents for more money".Never in my life have I had something so insulting said to me by a "professional" representing an industry where they are already made fun of

Throughout the whole process, from viewing our new home to completion of all the paperwork the staff at Cluttons have been excellent. As first time renters no question was too silly for them and everything was dealt with in an exemplary manner. Three staff in particular are worthy of a mention, Sam Benson, Lisa Chambers and Will Jones who coached us perfectly through the whole process - thank you guys
