I purchased a refurbished video player to replace a 30 year old Panasonic.It took a couple of weeks to arrive due to logistical problems that I not in a position to comment on, but when the player just chewed my tapes, my heart sank.I phoned the company and spoke to Matty who couldn't be more helpful.I tracked the machine's return, and the day it landed at Electrovid, I picked up the phone and again spoke to Matty who assured me that the replacement would be with me the next day, and it was.The Smartlink to my TV works perfectly, as does the VHS player's autotracking, so as far as I'm concerned, job done.

It's unusual these days to come across a company that doesn't care about customer after sales service. I bought a DVD recorder in July 2020 which stopped working in November, since when I have tried unsuccessfully to either get it repaired or replaced with an equivalent unit. Broken promises, failed deliveries and general indifference seems to be their policy. My advice, if you decide to buy from Electrovid, would be not to spend more than you are prepared to write off should the item prove faulty.

We bought a dvd recorder in March 2023 but had to send back within a couple of weeks as faulty. As of now we are still waiting for a replacement 5 weeks later. They will not answer the phone, or emails or letters. I went down to see them and was told I would received a replacement and they would phone with the delivery date. I'm still waiting. This is also part of another company 'outdoor living' I would never recommend either of these company's to anyone unless you never want to see your money or a product ever again.

AVOID Electovid which is a FCJUK.LTD companyThis company is extremely unprofessional, unreliable and provides extremely poor service. I ordered a Panasonic recordable dvd and player was supposed to arrive in 3 to 5 days had to keep calling to chase up. When it finally arrived it was the wrong one and a completely different model. emailed them and they said it was sent by mistake ( no apologies) They then promised they would send the right one and it still didn’t turn up so called again they then said they didn’t have another one. They said I would have to send the old one back and they would refund the money and again as the money didn’t get refunded I had to call and chase this up in all this took 2 months of frustration and inconvenience
