The Wee Red Bar
This great wee bar is difficult to find. We found the entrance from Lady Lawson Street, up a side lane.With that out of the way, the Wee Red Bar, has a great little bar with reasonably-priced drinks, an awesome stage for gigs, cool lighting and an absolutely stellar sound. And still close enough to walk to The Grassmarket and the Cowgate for other gigs if you’re doing the rounds.

went there for a concert. the sound and light were very good for that small venue. sadly their beer from tap is not so great BUT they always have some nice canned/bottled craft beers. very friendly staff!

The Wee Red Bar
I read a review that said this was the place to go for indie music, after walking from the grass market and paying £5 for entry there were less than 10 people there and the music was not indie.We went on the Friday night, after chatting to the bar staff Saturday night usually pulls a crowd of approx 50 so make sure you go on the right night.Beer selection was poor, but cheap.The staff were lovely people.

art school bar. cool wee regular parties and occasional good small gigs. not really the best place to go just for drinks as it really serves more the purpose as a club than bar but ok and very affordable beer if that's what you're after

Cool, hidden, venue off the beaten track. Great sound, lights and layout for local or touring indie bands. Bar inside with limited but decent choice.

Iconic venue in the Art College in Edinburgh, perfect for that intimate vibe when watching alive band. We opened there for a new monthly Jungle / Drum & Bass night and the vibe was perfect. Staff are cool and great opening hours.

Small bar in student art centre. No draft beer but pumps available??? Reasonable prices. It's a music venue and we were there to see Attic Days" very friendly staff. Had a smashing night and the band were really good."
