Lovely country village pub with welcoming service. We were group of twenty for Sunday lunch. Small car park but plenty of nearby parking. Proper roasts and good home cooked standards, coupled with excellent friendly service. Recommended.

Very friendly family owned pub, went twice on the weekend for food and it did not disappoint. The Sunday roast was lovely, huge portions. John and co made a great effort to ensure everyone was happy. Would recommend a visit if you're nearby.

The perfect pub! Beautiful old pub in a quaint Welsh village. Amazing beer garden around the back & the friendliest of landlords behind the bar. Decent pub food made it a lovely visit. Thank you.

Such a warm welcome at this lovely cosy pub. A nice evening so we wanted a drink outside before eating. Very friendly landlord showed us the table where we would be sitting and said come back in when we were ready. As soon as we came back and sat down our order was taken. Lovely beer garden with views of the hills. Interesting menu - good food and service. Thoroughly recommend.

A well maintained structure close to the castle which is good for leisure. The outside looks old keeping its traditional and historical stature.

We had a lovely time celebrating our engagement. Food was great and the staff were friendly. A very welcoming atmosphere. Thank you. We said we'd come back to this part of Wales on our 1 year anniversary and this place will definitely be visited again.

Took my mum out for a lovely roast dinner when visiting. Excellent little local pub with good food, lovely atmosphere, and good service. Then we went up to Llyn Brianne Dam to walk it off :)
