My daughter has long thick hair (frizzy), has been to this salon on a number of occasions (after trying various local places and being disappointed by other salons). She is always happy with Faik’s wash & blowdry’s. The best and super quick !

Faik is a gem. He never disappoints and always ensures I leave very happy!

Absolutely wonderful experience at this salon. I was sceptical about having balayage carried out on my hair given a negative experience I had had at a different salon a few years before, but at Mia I needn’t have worried as I was in the very best of hands. Not only did they execute the look I had asked for perfectly but they blow dried my hair to finish off the work which meant that I left the salon grinning from ear to ear and with gorgeously glossy and bouncy, newly coloured waves. All staff members were lovely, friendly and so smiley. Thank you for a fantastic experience, I’ll be coming back soon for a cut to compliment my new colour.

My hair was originally down to my shoulder and almost the ssme length. I showed a photo to the owner whom I had seen 3 times before. I wanted a cut up to my jaw line with some some soft layers going to the back. He kept taking big chunks of my hair cutting the ends in straight line and at the end he did not check or refine the ends. His blow drying was worse than his cut that as soon as I got home I washed my hair. When my husband came home and saw my hair, he jokingly asked have you tried to cut your hair yourself which confirmed to me how awful and chunky the layers were looking. Terrible job Mr Melhi. I should not have come back to you after your not so good a cut last time!

Not impressed I asked for a simple fringe cut and before I knew it, the fringe extended to the sides was so upset now I’ve gotta wait at least a few years for it to grow back but the worst part of it all is the arrogant HAIRDRESSER that did it didn’t even apologise. Will never go back there again very unprofessional and basically didn’t care.

If you want great blow dried curls on long hair or colour at cheap prices then this is for you. I had long hair and this was my first sortie to the hairdressers for a year!!!! I thought I would have a long bob and definitely need my highlights done so really looking for new salon snd good cut having been abandoned by my hairdresser of many years who is now in sunny Spain!!! I was extremely surprised at the procedure - may be I am out of the loop but most hairdressers would I think at least take a look at their clients hair BEFORe sending to the basins for shampooing. I was then ushered to a chair and asked what I wanted . We had a discussion and a longer bob decided upon. The stylist then said he would prefer a dry cut so it was dried and I stood up for him to cut. My hair was below my shoulder blades and he found it easier. He went to fetch his tools and returned with something that resembled a clippers. When I asked about this he said it was the best way to get a straight line! Having had a chance to review the finished article at home my thoughts are that this way of cutting appears to somehow feather the ends of the hair whilst I have always had a good scissor cut (thought s good cut was the absolute necessity of any hairdo)which keeps the weight. I am just extremely relieved I did not have highlights! It is not a good look and I don’t think particularly well done . During discussion it appears the gentleman only helps out at weekends during busy periods. He was pleasant, said nice things about my colour etc etc (all absolutely incorrect) luckily my hair grows fast. It was a bad choice for me but great for others . Sonia
