Three Chequers Medical Practice - Three Swans Surgery

Denies service, denied appointments, refused help more than 3 times in the past 3 months now. Rude receptionists who are judgemental and seem to think they are right in withholding access to doctors

Called to make an appointment feeling really scared and upset. My call was fielded by Gillian (Pittman i was told later) who spoke with such care and compassion, explaining how things would proceed, and how to be less anxious next time. What an amazing person!

Moved to the area a year ago, had very little communication from the surgery. Not seen a doctor yet. Not easy to make an appointment. Was asked to take blood pressure readings three weeks ago, and I've not had any feedback regarding the results. Poor.

Can't actually make an appointment with a Dr without now getting a triage call first. Time wasted in queues on the phone. If this is the way forward get more staff to answer the phones. Really gone down hill since it became 3 chequers irrespective of covid which is now just an excuse.Update. 17 October standard excuse we have to look after 30000 patients. Yes but you are the biggest surgery with 4 surgeries. I realise the nhs is on its knees but get your procedures and follow ups sorted and you may reduce some stress not just on patients but also all your staff.

In, jabbed, very efficient. Longer term the practice has been more responsive than my partners surgery and I'm always impressed by their appointment availability and support.Can sometimes be a wait in the phone, but nothing exceptional.

What a complete waste of time should of stayed at home and died, because that's what this practice is designed to do make you wait 30 mins on the phone and when you do get your appointment several months later they give you a time and yes you have guessed it there late at that, health care don't think this place nos what that is. Year 2023 COVID over , my better half had not been seen by a doctor since COVID she has a medical condition and is on meds for the rest of her life , later this year she was asked to make an appointment to be seen , amazing 5 days later she receives from them a letter that everything is ok I was so impressed because she hadn't been to see the doctor, any way she goes to see doctor who was a little worried and tells her to pop back today Wednesday September 20th 2023 because they have a specialist in so she goes in and Yeap you guessed it ,she gets seen by the doctors securetary who gives her a test and in her securetary believef she's fine . How this place is allowed to carry on I don't no but they got there pay increase s and still do a sub standard job

I rang the surgery this morning to speak to a Dr the receptionist was lovely and said she put me on the triage list. The Dr called back about 15 mins later, I told him my problem and I had an appointment booked for half an hr. Excellent service, thank you to all the team as I know you are all working under difficult circumstances. A very happy patient. Kathleen Marriott

The doctors and nurses have been absolutely brilliant with there help and understanding in my situation there is always someone to talk to or if I need to see someone then they will sort out an appropriate appointment. Dr Georgi is brilliant at what he does he is understanding and willing to help as best he can also, Marina, Beth and the other nurses have helped as much as they can with my situation. There is just one point I would like to make and that is I think the 3swans surgery needs a barrier or a post near reception to ask people to stay back until it’s there turn as it an open reception people tend to stand right behind you when you are at the reception desk trying to tell the receptionist what the matter is it doesn’t make it very private and could also have a few more chairs in the waiting area.
