JK Electrical - Glasgow

We have used JK Electrical several times and each time it has been a great experience. Jim is easy to deal with and cares about his profession. He gave good advice and explained what he was doing and charged a fair price, he accommodated any extra requests, arranged warranties, documentation and accurate quotes. We moved into a new house and he gave it a proper inspection, compiled a report and carried out any remedial work plus we had smoke, heat and monoxide alarms installed, security lights, dimmer switch and some other bits and bobs. The house is a lot safer now. It's a good idea to have your home checked over by a professional who is up to speed with all the regulations.

Jim was very thorough in every aspect of the work and was meticulous to ensure everything complied with all regulations and good practice.

Jim and Ryan were great from start to finish. Really responsive and explained everything they were doing in a good level of detail, and they got the job done quickly and efficiently too (despite the additional hurdle of a missing earth wire cropping up!). Great value for money and two good guys - would recommend highly and will certainly go to them should I need any further jobs doing!

I would highly recommend JK Electrical. Excellent communication throughout, Jim came out to have a look to ensure EICR was accurate before quoting for specific work required, options very clearly explained. The installation of consumer unit and other small jobs are very tidy and unit is well-secured to the wall - Jim went out to source a wooden board to attach properly as the underlying plaster was a little fragile. Paperwork provided promptly and price was much more competitive than the other 2 quotes I received. Really pleased - many thanks Jim.

How refreshing to meet an honest, hardworking and reliable tradesman. Jim was great to work with from start to finish and I’d highly recommend him. His workmanship is second to none, likewise his expert knowledge and all for a very competitive price. Jim did an excellent job updating a consumer unit and checking the electrics throughout the house as well as issuing installation certificates. He also came up with ideas on how best to box in the old cabinet housing the electricity meter. Excellent and will call upon again.

I was extremely pleased with JK electrical and would recommend them without hesitation. They fitted a replacement kitchen fan and wired our garage which previously had had no electricity. What I particularly liked was the excellent communication prior to commencing work and the excellent timekeeping. Will definitely use JK electrical,again.
